Yeah the longer this goes the less likely I think they get Dennis. Honestly Geronimo officially coming back may have been it. Not sure he wants to come off the bench if he were to transfer at IU. He would have to earn that final starting spot. 

I am only interested if he's replacing Kopp. That appears less likely every day.  

Fine with this. More run for Bates and Geronimo which will be better for us in the long run

I don't want to speak out of turn, but Dennis has been very open about his mental health journey.  Here is a really good piece that he and Wylie Glover (Wichita State softball player) did for #Pow6rfulMinds:  https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1228426027580777  .  I sincerely hope that the abrupt dropping of his twitter account has nothing to do with his mental well being.  I know that sometimes what people write online can have an effect on people's mental state -- I know that I am guilty of it both giving and receiving on occasion.  Full disclosure:  I recently deleted my own twitter account as it was becoming a rabbit hole of negativity.
I will always pull for anyone that gives back with their mental health stories to help others.  I have had to deal with my own issues of depression and anxiety and wouldn't wish those issues on my worst enemy.  Dennis seems like an incredibly great role model both on and off the court and I hope that comments made (I know I've made them myself) about how he would/wouldn't fit at IU he hasn't taken personally.
Just my opinion, I think at this point Dennis would like to commit to IU and the staff would love to have him.  It's just a matter of making the scholarship situation work out and that could come to what happens with a couple of other moving parts.

Dennis was asked when he would return to Twitter and he said “soon”

They aren’t afraid. They LEGALLY can’t punish a school. They don’t have the ability to subpoena to get the information they need to punish. Schools can just deny and then nothing happens. Unless they have a whistleblower with evidence, then they have no authority to punish. IU self reported and self punished themselves, it wasn’t the NCAA that punished IU post Sampson. 
 
To me there should be zero compliance needed with NIL. If Andy Mohr wants to pay a phenom $10 million to advertise his auto dealerships, the young phenom should be able to take that deal if he wants to. Free market capitalism, where the market sets the price sounds wonderful to me. 
If Pack can get $800k, then that’s the market for the player. Purdue misses out. Nothing wrong or slimy with that. 
Olympic athletes who aren’t professionals make money off of their NIL all the time. That’s not slimy.
