At the 60th pick you're probably better off going undrafted. I don't TJD is staying in the draft if 60th is the best he can do. 

Big 10 will definitely be down. We must capitalize on an easier conference and win a few of the key OOC games.

I think that is something the university can help with. Direct financial advice might be off limits, but I think universities can and do provide NIL training related to compliance and financial literacy. So they could inform players that you do need to pay taxes on this, that it would be good to consult financial advisor, and what to consider when looking for an advisor, etc.

True, but this year with Reneau (and maybe Banks) IU has an excellent option at the 4/5 to spell Trayce/Race. 
So, if Jordan wants to keep getting starter-level minutes like he did at the end of the season he's gonna have to play some three.

Yes, there are still plenty of 18 year olds that are not entirely motivated by money, and one of them will be starting for IU next year.
 

That is awesome!!! Makes you really like the kid even more!  I think it is great for him, his community and those kids.

2 thoughts on this.
1. Cheating becomes legit so the advantages other blue bloods had by cheating is over. NIL should benefit IU as much as anyone.
2. Indiana still won’t add players names to the backs of our jerseys.

NIL to me was players could be featured on advertisements, in commercials, or brand their own clothing, etc. They could make money off of their name, image, or likeness.
I didn't see "contracts" coming, or whatever Miami gave to Pack. College basketball players are no longer "amateurs" and never will be again.

I'm interested to see how things play out when a player gets 400k to play for a school then produces at a subpar level. What will be the reaction of another player who has been at the school 1-2 years but hasn't received the same financial love. I'm thinking it's gonna be interesting.

Just like any workplace. IU folks doing the work and Purdue folks talking a bunch 

Yes.  individually, I'm okay with:
1.  Automatic transfers.
2.  NIL or PFP, whatever you want to call it.
But.....having both together produces issues.
