  1. It seems like everybody's third choice is Bennett, and everybody's second choice is "Archie or Marshall without a doubt!"

  3. So much for civility,
  4. No further need for me to weigh in here. Will just say...^^THIS^^
  5. Hey, if we are seeing Bloomington flights to and from Wichita, Dayton, and OKC, I am a happy guy. That means we are not seeing flights from places with crappy coaches.
  6. I see near universal agreement that the fanbase would be thrilled with Donovan, but given that in the past 24 hours there have been flights into Bloomington from both Dayton and Wichita, I pose this question: If not Donovan and given a choice between Archie Miller and Gregg Marshall, who do you prefer, and why? Discuss:
  7. A portion of today's flight schedule to Monroe County, Indiana Airport: N269EX C208 Wichita Dwight D Eisenhower National (KICT) 09:00a CST 12:57p EST
  8. Pap don't "whoa" for a Chris Mack type.
  9. Have you seen Archie Miller's results? He's about as proven as a 38 year old not named Brad Stevens can possibly be.
  10. I know you are but what am I! Wait, huh?
  11. No thank you. Low quality kids for Mick.
  12. I dunno. I like Collins and Archie a lot. So, who DO you like (besides the potentially unattainable Stevens and Donovan)?
  13. A different poster in 247 just chimed in that Crean has accepted a $1.6-8 m buyout, and there is no news yet on a replacement.
  14. And Billy Donovan led a Florida squad whose best players were Casey Prather and Dorian Finney Smith to a 36-3 Final Four season. So that's good too! [emoji3]
  15. Annnndd..... BINGO!
  16. The new coach will be replacing that trip with a 48 nonstop tour of New Albany Indiana, the North side of Bloomington Indiana, and the McCutcheon corner of Layflat Indiana.
  17. Maybe some of these posts are tongue in cheek, but anyone that really believes that the proper way to terminate a highly paid executive employee with an ongoing contract is to... Call him into a room, bluntly exclaim "You're fired!" and summarily dismiss him from the room... Would be describing an administration with a true dumbass in charge. I'm not saying that Glass and the IU administration are flawless, but they are not fifth grade complexity dumbasses. ;)
  18. Maybe so. That would make sense. It will also drive a few people on these boards crazy!
  19. Or more likely that the buyout terms and exit have been settled.
  20. Aaannnd; just when ya think it's a slow leaknews day!
  21. Indeed...but this is a recitation of posts related to the day when the cat was let out of the bag.
  22. Wrong-o on that account. Gainesville, Florida, and for that matter, all of Central Florida, is a completely miserable place in the summer: "Unlike most of Florida, Gainesville has some fairly large seasonal fluctuations. Its inland location means that it is shielded from the temperature moderation that the bodies of water surrounding Florida provide. It is also too far inland to benefit from any 'ocean breezes'. The heat and humidity in July and August should not be underestimated. During the summer, Gainesville experiences typical Florida weather, with high humidity and frequent rainfall, with highs usually in the mid-90s (about 35°C) but rarely above 100°F (38°C) and 6in (15cm) of precipitation per month."
