  1. Or sooner!
  2. Groce cannot coach. At all.
  3. He's said that he stayed in a large part because he is enjoying life as a student athlete at IU, and was not quite as focused on draft position as y'all might think. That might very well just be the truth!
  4. We may not get either, but only the message board echo chamber believes that Garland and Langford are out of reach.
  5. "If G_d didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them so darn tasty?" Homer Simpson
  6. And they're not funny quotes! Which sucks.
  7. Bingo. A recruit who is a guest at a school where he is trying to show worthiness for a four year scholarship should not be wasted and double-teaming a drunk co-ed. There is not much larger a red flag than that.
  8. Ooops! Didn't read that far back. Apparently, this is not the first time he's focused on this issue. There's a book written about it!
  9. Apparently, our defenders, especially Josh Newkirk, have been "hopping" on defense instead of properly sliding their feet. Last night, Tom Crean was ready to respond to Josh in-game. No, this is not a photoshop.
  10. Looks like Ol Roy is gonna kill him.
  11. There is a HUGE difference between what constitutes a successful criminal prosecution, and where a football program feels comfortable drawing the line with who they want in their locker room for four years
  12. THANK GOODNESS
  13. Hallelujah, praise the lord, and amen!
  14. Whether it was arguably consensual is only relevant in assessing the likelihood of successful criminal prosecution. It is irrelevant is assessing whether he should be a student athlete at Indiana University. If the Minnesota recruit described in these reports is our recruit...he shouldn't be anymore.
  15. Why would K agree to go on the show if he planned on being a complete jerk when faced with logical, respectfully posed questions? K just made a complete horse's ass out of himself in this clip. He's getting a little RMK-ish.
  16. Both games are on weeknights, but the Nebraska game is during a week when many, if not most, are on winter vacation, including school age kids. Me and my 5th grader are making the trip from out of state for the Nebraska and UL games. (shhhh...don't tell him; it's a surprise).
  17. Yup. Got it; it's a very famous quote, one that is probably not best applied to a basketball player who trips people. Lots of people make larger sacrifices, and lots of basketball players make similar sacrifices without tripping opponents. You wanna talk about a basketball player that Teddy Roosevelt would ride with? Try this one instead:
  18. Oh "LeBron-avatar IU message board poster speaking for LeBron", quit yer' whining! ;)
  19. I think that Purdue is quite good, but we are a really good match-up with them. Seems to me that Purdue is a daunting opponent when Haas and Swanigan can really get going, and with Haas that is far from a given. Purdue's weakness is perimeter defense and quickness. We have two really, really good options to defend Swanigan; Juwan especially seems tailor made for it. Haas is a feast or famine player; dominates the teams that can't keep him off the block, and looks extremely awkward when he's kept off the block. TB and especially DeRon have the strength to avoid being overwhelmed by him. If we can turn their perimeter players into primary offensive options, I am optimistic.
  20. ^^Way, way way too much.^^ It's a basketball player that trips people. Suspend him and mock him. That's it.
  21. And in the event that it's him, pull the scholarship immediately.
  22. If that is our recruit and we didn't conduct enough due diligence!?!?!?
  23. Remember, sports is purely and merely entertainment. Bad moments merely provide contrast so that the good moments feel even better!
  24. Are these two posts specifically inter-related? ;)
