Our basketball players want to play basketball games! It's almost as simple as that. If we want the players on the team to want to play for Indiana, and to continue to want to do so no matter who the coach is, restricting them from playing in competitive games would be big time counter-productive.

Good info...not seeing a lot of pro-Alford buzz from posters in the know. Just that he'd be interested. That's very different than seeing IU interested in him. No worries here, yet.
