  1. Damn straight they're happy. This may very well be a watershed great day for Indiana football.
  2. Fred Glass just made a GREAT decision (IMO)
  3. AMEN! HALLELUJAH! NOW we are a football school. [emoji322][emoji322][emoji364][emoji364][emoji458][emoji458][emoji482][emoji482]
  4. Dusty Kiel: "Only took them six years to figure this one out. Great day to be a Hoosier."
  5. Immediately where my thoughts went.
  6. I'll shut my trap when you stay out of my trigger warning safe space.
  7. That's bullying ;)
  8. This ain't IU basketball. It'll remain civil. FWIW, early in the Wilson tenure, I was not a fan AT ALL, and it had little or nothing to do with on-field performance. Wilson had a personally destructive way of conducting himself away from football. It bled into his interactions with players, the media, and fellow bar patrons, and it was well known in Bloomington. I'm fairly certain that with Fred Glass's mindset, Wilson was put on some kind of notice that his personal behavior had to change. Given the recent (relative) success and upward trend of the program, it seemed as though that had happened. Now, I can reasonably speculate that his personal behavior backslid in a way that was unacceptable.
  9. JBJ was fantastic. Again positively impacted the game beyond his shooting. OG and DeRon with very good low post defense. Josh is what he is - some things he will never excel at, but I'm sure glad we have him. OG on the court changes everything. The game was a little too big for a freshman CuJo. The game was NOT too big for a freshman DeRon. RoJo is a rock; felt like he set the tone as our veteran leader. Thomas's energy is unique; he rebounded out of his immediate space brilliantly. DGreen is the real deal; court vision is so good. Glad we have McRoberts; when defensive intensity wanes he is a good choice. LOVED the substitution choices by CTC.
  10. It all seems pretty lighthearted to me!
  11. This oughta get y'all fired up: The last time UNC was in Assembly Hall?
  12. HE COULD TAKE SIX THUGS AND SIX BANNERS AT ONCE!!
  13. Too many TOs per 40 minutes, and c'mon MSB, only 40/28.6 pts/rebounds per 40? Not enough to meet the cyborg-supernatural stats we've come to expect!
  14. I hear ya, friend, but I'm also fairly certain that if Bob Knight showed up in Assembly Hall, there would be nothing "polite and contained."
  15. True. The people that have been fed up with RMK would likely watch the sideshow in relative silence, and those cheering would be really loud. Not sure which tack I would take if I were there. Probably relatively quiet for me.
  16. A full-on cornerback blitz! Love the aggressive defensive attitude. ;)
  17. I wonder if Zeke will be there.
  18. He'd make his appearance with the '81 team, and then beat feet.
  19. Steve Risley tweeted that he spoke with RMK two weeks ago, and that it was basically a "no way." ...which of course, means that RMK is talking/thinking about it.
  20. Per Dakich, "he would not be surprised" if RMK is there for the '81 reunion ceremony. Given Dakich's past attention to this issue, methinks this time it's a real possibility, maybe even likely. If so: It would mean that RMK admitted that he screwed up by not appearing with the '76 team; extraordinary for RMK to imply that he made a mistake. Dickie V on the mike, who might spin into the roof with rapture. If RMK appears, I betcha he'll enter pushing Landon Turner's wheelchair.
  21. Iowa is a Peter Jok twisted ankle away from being...Rutgers.
  22. I'm not entirely sure we are locked into a December 28th bowl game.
  23. It's okay to be negative. It's okay to say people are too negative. It's okay!
  24. No one said people shouldn't state their opinion. Dalton's opinion (and my opinion) is that people are attributing too much negativity into a cupcake game that we won by 35 points.
