I guess the moral of the story is: never underestimate the bravery of a one-eyed former football player. ...too much, too soon? ;)

Coach Search 2017 IU Candidate: Billy Donovan (OKC Thunder)
Stuhoo replied to Feathery's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I can! This list is from TheSmokingGun.com, and describes Mariah Carey's backstage demands, but I can certify from non-rumor, potentially vetted, booster connected "inside" sources that I may or may not have, that this is also the list of demands that Tom Crean made when he visited a high school gym: When we first published Mariah Carey's Tom Crean's tour locker room rider, the singer coach required promoters to stock her his backstage roost with Cristal champagne, which she consumed via "bendy straws." But Carey's Crean's 2010 rider reflects her his growth as an artist recruiter: the bubbly has been replaced with a $200 bottle of cabernet sauvignon and her his dressing room is outfitted with two dozen white roses and vanilla aromatherapy candles. As for the furniture in her his "living room space," Carey Crean wants "no busy patterns; black, dark grey, cream, dark pink are all fine." It is unclear what kind of negative effect plaid or tartan seating would have on the performance. Carey's Crean's room "should be about 75 degrees," and a "lamp or clip light" should be provided so that "harsh lighting may be turned off" in her his backstage bathroom. -
Interesting that three of the four players who have been pulled from the football team have either opined (Belden), or have ears and ties (Fuchs, Cameron) to the IU basketball program.

YES!!! An example of an IU player who never had leg issues due to extensive "knee-cushioning elements":
-
You forgot to include Hartman. He also had significant leg issues before arriving at IU.

You sir, have done your good deed for the day.

Other boards also have their share of lively debate. This board is the winner for just plain funny.
-
I just ran into the entire Victoria's Secret calendar girl roster on South Beach. They all confessed that they have been sleeping with... Middle School Bob. And needless to say, they are mighty pleased.
-
We need to stick a BtownBanners undercover agent in as the receptionist at this chiropractor's office!

Bob Knight Returns to Bloomington,IN on March 30th
Stuhoo replied to Trish's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
We have nine kids on the team. When we are doing a drill that needs six kids, the ones "who aren't in" help me to identify who screws it up, and when they do, they get to replace the kid that did something wrong. Accountability. Also...I considered throwing a Diet Coke at the offender. -
Damn...I've been trying to find a link to that clip all day. LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE!!!!! The best. Clip. Ever.

Stuhoo replied to Trish's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
At my middle-school team's bball practice last night, after I showed the kids how to "sweep the ball" under a closing defender's arms to get shoulders past them and pass correctly, one of my kids tried to throw the ball underhanded into the post. I told him that may have been the most ridiculous pass in the history of basketball and replaced him in the drill...at which point he doubled over with laughter. And then...I did too. Still booted him from the drill, though. -

Not that he needs me to defend him, but when TrueHoosier 'likes' that response I gave to his post, it reminds me that TrueHoosier is NOT a blind Knight sycophant, but instead is a fan of textbook on-court basketball. Kudos -

Okay (and true). Without any conceivable question for on-court performance. Even better news: Going forward, great results with horrible temperament, or weird with weak results are not our only choices! -

And just maybe coming to introduce Pat Knight as the next men's basketball head coach for Indiana University?!? (I kid, I kid) -
Yes; he posted " -... .. .-.. .-.. -.-- / -.. --- -. --- ...- .- -. " That translates to Billy Donovan. Total of ten posts on that board for a poster that signed up two months ago. Pretty entertaining stuff!

The 5 Biggest Recruiting Misses of the Tom Crean Era

So... last night the beast was FINALLY unleashed. Why has this mountain of a man's man not been getting more run? The raw numbers from last night's game: 48 points per 40 minutes 197.3 bone-crushing picks per 40 minutes No turnovers 8 concussion-causing, ball eliminating, soul destroying fouls on Caleb Swanigan per 40 minutes. MSB training video: Yes, MSB is here. Any coincidence that he has arrived on the same night that Kevin Durant went down? Look for Golden State to add him for their playoff run.

Coach Search 2017 IU Candidate: Billy Donovan (OKC Thunder)

BINGO. And THAT's why they are mighty worried about the IU job opening up on the Dayton board. Oh, and by the way... it's also a pretty good endorsement of a coach when a fan base is unanimously terrified that the coach might leave.
