Freshman Larryn Brooks has had a stellar start to her college career as she has led the Hoosiers in scoring five times and in assists every game . She is currently averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 82.9 percent from the free throw line.   In the latest NCAA statistical rankings (games through Nov. 24) among all Division I programs, Brooks ranked eighth (18.8 ppg) in scoring among all freshmen nationally and fourth among freshmen in BCS conferences.   She has tallied 14 or more points in each contest. Brooks had her most productive night at IPFW on Nov. 12. In that game, Brooks scored 25 points, the most points scored by a Hoosier freshman since 1999 (Jill Chapman, 31 points), and added six assists and four rebounds. She shot 13-of-15 from the free throw line in that game, including some clutch free throws down the stretch to preserve the win.

On a side note, if Purdue gains 79 more yards we'll have the worst D in conference history.  Because of course we will.

Im not used to seeing our Defense actually getting stops. Then I remember we're playing purdue and its less exciting.
