  1. Past hour
  2. Adams and KJ started the day at the 3SSB event in Mishawaka. Thomas Carr in Memphis for the EYBL event. DDV in Cincy for Branham and the UAA event. Limit is 4 on the road at any one time.
  3. Yep. Yigi is also particularly foul prone. Something to watchout for. Knowing DeVries he’ll run some 4 guard sets and have Mustaf at the 4. Could be some solutions.
  4. Michigan was built back up in a day after the Howard disaster.. ;)
  5. Why? What does Harris do that Dorn can't? Is Harris going to be a 38% volume 3 point shooter this year? I think that is absolute best case scenario for Harris this year. He's not an elite athlete or a lock down defender. His best case scenario is what Dorn did last season while likely making twice the amount. What happens when Samet rolls an ankle in the middle of January and is out 3 weeks with a high ankle sprain? You going to play Sherrell 40 minutes a night with Sisley playing next to him for 32 minutes for 6-7 straight games? How's that going to work? What happens when Sherrell picks up 2 fouls before the first media timeout? Yeah good luck.
  6. Think the building we’re looking for is underway. Can’t really just gloss over that we landed the #3 Portal class, and #25 2026 recruiting class, and now have multiple years of eligibility across the floor and a stud 2027 point guard already committed. You know the saying- Rome wasn’t built in a day. You don’t go from bottom of the barrel to NC, but you can build towards it, and we have some pretty good building blocks in place — I like the foundation, but yes have to keep building on it
  7. I really want to know what we spent on Mustaf and Harris. Something tells me collectively it's between $2.5-$3mil. That's too much if that's the case. Dorn and a solid back up big that can play 15-18mpg would have been a much better bang for your buck.
  8. It’s gross, but it’s more and more what winning basketball is gonna look like in the states.
  9. If true, it’s roster building malpractice. Hell, we have posters here that would watch 15 of his games to get a scout for fun. Based on last season, he seems like a coach that takes on the challenge of coaching what he has. He doesn’t strike me as an analytical, ultra high IQ type guy that obsesses over the roster and the roster build. Not a type A personality. many of his/staffs choices left so much to be desired and added a level of doubt to every choice they make for me. This season is better by a landslide but leaves several significant question marks. Genuinely curious if this is 1 year rental/back up situation like Acinomivic was. Maybe practice against guys like Yigi and AS is better than playing low level German ball. Not sure this is a serious 4 year commitment or not.
  10. That’s a very strong group. Excited about Soccers upcoming season.
  11. Additionally I wouldn’t have signed Manhertz or at least had him reclass back to his original class. I’d have encouraged him to get a Montverde type year of development and stay a ‘27. Tried to add a freshman I like better or thought would be more ready to contribute.
  12. Today
  13. Right? It’s a career of stepping stones and I’m neck deep into a dental career. Far too old to start that totem pole. Honestly, if I wasn’t supporting a family of 5 on a single income I could see myself in an alternate universe ‘wishing’ I had tried the Dusty May career path. lol.
  14. Under these restrictions I would be have kept Dorn, the better prospect of Jason Drake/Jasai Miles, the better prospect of Josh Harris/Clemens. I also would have liked to know the market for what we spent on Lindsay/Darren Harris and see if I could have found players I like better in the spending space.
  15. Brief bios on the transfers. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2026/5/15/mens-soccer-mens-soccer-adds-production-experience-from-portal
  16. Columbia transfer Ryan Soulis has committed to Northwestern. The 6’10” redshirt sophomore forward appeared in 26 games, averaging 5.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 block per game.
  17. May Transfer additions: Maryland Transfer, FWD Stephane Njike Cornell Transfer, MID Westin Carnevale FAU Transfer, FWD Oliver Moller-Jensen
  18. We have landed Maryland Transfer/ #1 attacker, Stephane Njike!
  19. Hill seems to be the unlimited ceiling/questionable motor kid that could be TJD ... or could be Xavier Booker.
  20. Raby reported Branham and his parents were in town yesterday. Chase has an AAU event in Cincinnati this weekend.
  21. They had been recruiting him since the 8th grade. This one had been decided a while ago
  22. I'm speculating about this. Carr would say "Darian; my buddy with proven credibility about Sokolov says..." There would be plenty of game tape to watch. It's the 12th/13th developmental spot that likely doesn't cost much more than a scholarship.
  23. And alarmingly reminiscent of the previous coaching administration.
  24. Sadly I can’t even tell if this is past years euro bench magnet or this years…lol
