If Ty knew what they were actually doing before 5 broke him in half he may have thrown for more than 60 yards or whatever. The only thing he knew was coming was pain.

Who knows maybe they can sell him on development- going up against Yigitoglu and Sherrell every day in practice and playing in the Big Ten. Then be the focal point of the offense in 2027. This is where Ryan Carr earns his paycheck-maybe he knows Keita's agents and can sell them on his NBA connections. Will be extremely tough going up against those other 5 schools but worth the wait and effort. But hey there's always Yaak Yaak as the fall back option lol.

Keita would be the absolute dream scenario. That’s it right there. Absurdly talented but really young, he may have just turned 18. and not ready to really help much. But a 10 min type of niche role would make a ton of sense for everyone concerned. 18 months of physical/skill development and he could be pretty blinding as a sophomore.

Gotta get him just for the name. Get him an NIL deal with a Buffalouies. "Yaak Yaak Sauce" sounds like a good wing sauce name.

Hoosiers take the weekend opener 13-3 in a run shortened game. 3 Hoosier pitchers limited Abilene Christian to 6 hits while getting 13 of our own. Cole Decker had the hot bat going 4-4 with 3 RBI. Denney had 2 HR; one of which came leading off our 1st inning.

Northeastern transfer LA Pratt has committed to Northwestern. The 6’5” senior guard averaged 17.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.3 steals in 3 games before suffering a season ending foot injury. Pratt averaged 11.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in 31 games during the 2024-25 season.

Makes me think he’s gotten by to this point on on physical tools. Where as most truly successful QBs in the NFL are cool under pressure and have an incredible understanding of the game. There’s a reason he was QB #3 till Moore returned to college.

Props to him for taking the L like a champ, but if his takeaway from that game was “they don’t do anything special and I knew exactly what I was seeing all day” …? Yikes. That’s not an accurate representation at all. Nor is it a good look for him or DeBoer.

Honestly I'm fine with just adding another true 5. Someone overlooked that is in that 6'11-7'2 range that you think can play in a bind now (take up space) but also believe can be developed for future. Can't teach size. Not sure if that individual is out there or not.
