  1. Past hour
  2. Bronny’s got a great corner/safety build tbh. Edit: thought I was in the IUFB portal thread
  3. Has the ability to do all of it except the rushing TDs
  4. Okay you finicky bastahd. Are you willing to sign Giannis packaged with his ne'er-do-well bballing little brothers Thanasis and Alex for the Glory of Old IU? *we gots options
  5. Hard pass, with/without Bronny.
  6. We will see. In the past 10 years we have had one season with a conference record as good as 12-8, so huge disappointment seems relative IMO. Would also depend a bit on how we do in non conference IMO. Michigan and Illinois seem likely to be favorites over us at least I'd think.
  7. And the Sleepers Media guys quoted him as saying if he was not a top 20 pick he would go the college route.
  8. That would be a huge disappointment. I don't see us being an underdog in any home game.
  9. Maryland is likely going to be sneaky good this year. Especially if Payne comes back healthy. Purdue should be down, but that is too 5 hard places to win right now. Hopefully we double up on NW. for 4-2 here. We need to make home court advantage a bigger advantage. We weren’t good enough this year at home compared to what is needed.
  10. It's not crazy to say, compared to both QBs prior to Hoover, at the exact same time, he's stepping into 812 better than both of them. Last year he ranked 2nd nationally in RPO behind... IUFB's QB. TCU's offense is almost near identical to IUFB's. He's got a quick release. He's TCU's best QB they've ever had in their entire history. We're going to see intermediate and deep balls like no other. Yes, even more than both Rourke and Mendoza. Stats two years prior to IUFB Rourke: 5464 Passing Yards, 36 TDs Mendoza: 4712 Passing Yards, 30 TDs Hoover: 7421 Passing Yards, 56 TDs Hoover is just 10 passes shy of beating both Rourke and Mendoza combined! Again, all of these comments are based on preseason Does this translate to a better QB than the last two years? No. Hoover has a lot of flaws that needs to be cleaned up. But man, hands down he's the best experienced RPO QB to transfer in that the staff has ever had to work with. Exciting times for 812FB.
  11. 41TDs 6INTs 72% 7 rushing TDs If Hoover tops that, sheeshh.. look out.
  12. Cig remembers them running up the score. Hes gonna try and Alabama them if he gets the chance
  13. Just gotta figure out how to beat NW now. But NW and Maryland are about as good of a draw in the double match up as you could ask for. Plus getting the top 3 teams at home. No excuse to not go over .500 in conference play this year.
  14. Agreed. Key will be to stay healthy
  15. I'm hoping he flexes for the first B1G road game, because I'm gonna be at Rutgers (and in Btown for the OSU game!).
  16. Today
  17. First glance gut reaction 4-3 in home only 4-3 in away only 4-2 in home & away Would be a 12-8 conference record. Could see anywhere from 10-10 to 14-6. Looking forward to seeing them in Peru. Bummer Yig won't play though
  18. He has four years of college eligibilty left ya know. But if it's a package deal with taking Bronny I'm a hard pass.
  19. Mendoza had the measurables to be the most coveted prospect but Hoover can easily be our best QB. He can be a better passer than Mendoza. Will he be able to beat teams with his legs not really. But Hoovers offense will look more like Rourkes. Hoover has a chance to be the best Big Ten QB. Moore really wasn’t that good last year I will die on that hill if you dig into it. 12/6 stat line in 9 Big Ten Games in regulation. Sayin is going to be asked to do a lot more with likely less weapons or at best similar. He’s going to have to take it to another level. Hoover is going to have the best defense in the conference. Maybe the country and a great running game. im really excited. Hoping Cig flexes the ole muscles for the first home big ten game
  20. Looks very favorable, nice
  21. VERY friendly schedule. NW is not looking good, and almost all of the toughest teams in the conference are home only games. Reads like the stars are aligning for some serious momentum building this coming season!
  22. Seems like we got a very nice draw this year. As far as stacking wins at least
  23. They're worlds from each other athletically. Best resume, ok. 3 straight really freaking good QBs. And really 4 straight, if you include FanDuel Express Sorsby
  24. Wishful thinking. Not just to return to college, but to see any indication of an IU interest.
  25. Hoover has the best pre-IU resume? 100% without a doubt. And for Cig to pass on Alberto for a specific interest in Hoover says a lot to me. Fernando Mendoza had the best measureables/ceiling for the NFL coming into his IU year.
