Blacksburg is roughly 5 hours from Pittsburgh while Bloomington is 6. i.e. really no difference. I looked because he had mentioned proximity to home when visiting Pitt. Guess we will find out how strong of bond he has with Franklin and the assistants.

Agreed it “could” be Alberto. My total guess that it will be a transfer guy was based on thinking top QB’s will want to play for Cig and that Cig’s last 4 QB’s were transfers with starter experience. That being said I have read that prior to those 4 transfers he had an all conference QB, Cole Johnson, that put in his time/years at JMU and eventually beat out transfers to win the job. I think it’s great if Alberto is the guy for the job and maybe he will be. We will see.

Based on Cig’s track record with QB’s, and Heismandoza, I’m guessing we will once again get a really good QB via the portal. The unknown is will Littledoza stick around and/or will Cherry be able to play.

Welp, In the next three weeks we play Kansas State, Louisville, UK and 2 of the possibly worst teams in the Big Ten. Going to be interesting (I hope) to watch.

The talent level in Florida, as we know, is insane. 247 has him ranked as the 113th rated player in Florida yet he has offers from Georgia, Missouri, GA Tech, Colorado, Ole Miss, Miami, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, etc, etc.

Coaches move. Cig has been at 4 schools in the last 10 seasons.

We are all guessing about next years QB and my guess is that our starter will be someone that will arrive at IU with at least 2-3k passing yards already under his belt. Cig likes production and I think that is particularly true at the QB position.

I thought you were kidding but yes, LWood did play and beat the Pharmacy school. However, LWoodie just lost to the Alabama AM team we beat by 47. I’ll be disappointed if our walk-ons don’t score at least 8-10 points.
