PU football is going to continue to suck for a number of years. Maybe they have a loaded 4-H benefactor (LOL) but I think they are in a hole they won’t get out of. What decent player wants to go there??? Love it!!

Just awful. NB had a chance to tie, or pull within one, but instead Iowa was gifted 2 free throws because the Nebraska player was given a foul for standing completely still. Terrible. Not to mention the refs watching the NB player get tackled, earlier in the possession, but no call. The refs should be suspended but we know the BT will just shrug.

He flopped and previous to that the offensive foul call on the Nebraska screen was 100% total BS. It was a HUGE call. Tough game but at the end the refs delivered a W on a silver platter to the Hawkeyes. I get tired of seeing that type of officiating.

Box score says they had 15 offensive boards ( seemed like 50) to our 2. Also, we had a decent 8 turnover game but the Illini only had 2.

I dislike Illinois but this is their 4th game that I’ve seen and have to admit they are fun to watch. Unselfish on offense, help on defense and hit the boards.

Agree. It would be depressing to me if Dorn was a lock to be a starter next year.

Yep, and this is the 4th game in a row in which he has been an offensive liability (or non-factor). On top of that he doesn’t seem to do a lot of non-statistical “little things” that help a team win.

Often times today his matchups have just been too tall for him and when they take him to the bucket no one is helping out.

I’m joining the “let’s give Sisley some minutes” club. No is doing much of anything, why not give him a little run? Maybe coach is worried he would be overwhelmed by the Illini?

After PU we need to win our last 4 games, including MSU at home and OSU on the road, and we will be good for the tourney. I think we can do it.

Lately Dorn has been bad on offense but at least he is only kind of bad on defense.

I was excited about the Marquette win but they are currently 102’nd in Kenpom just ahead of Hofstra, Hawaii and Pacific.

With their length, and inside/outside game, Illinois could be IU’s worst matchup in the Big Ten.

We really need something, today and going forward, from Dorn/Conerway. Dorn had a small streak in which it seemed like we found our third option but……..

Agree about Murray. I have a couple of UCONN grad friends that often complained about Hurleys offense prior to Murray arriving. They loved his defense, the intensity in which his teams played etc but thought the offense was mediocre.

I agree that it probably won’t impact roster construction but man o man the program needs a little juice. IU basketball needs to be in the field of 68. I’m living off the fumes of the glory years and still can’t get used to making the tourney being a reach/achievement. It’s 68 teams…..Come on!! Please, please, please let me watch an opening Thursday or Friday tourney game. Please.
