  1. Is Cuban our lead recruiter ?
  2. I’m curious which school it was. I don’t think it was Miami simply because no one would be shocked to hear it was Miami.
  3. Timeout called by USC because “the student” section needed a bathroom break.
  4. Making shots would also be helpful. Its frustrating because USC seems so beatable.
  5. Put together a good 3-4 minutes and we will be right there
  6. Tucker and Dorn are 2-14 from the field (all threes). Not optimal.
  7. The USC student section is literally a student.
  8. We have been looking for that crew for roughly 9 years
  9. Hits a three then gives the ball away dribbling through three guys and then launches/misses an off balance three. Sometimes he shows a lot but others he doesn’t look anything like a veteran coach’s son.
  10. Cody should sue the NCAA for his final two years of eligibility.
  11. Tucker, Dorn, Bailey, Enright are a combined 2-14. USC has 9 second chance points to zero for us. We get a W if we play half decent in the second half.
  12. He played his butt off vs PU and UCLA but it is a bit surprising that a veteran, with a ton of career minutes, is so inconsistent. Let’s hope he gets 15 in the second half to lead us to a W.
  13. The drop passes in the paint to Bailey, in traffic, are very poor decisions.
  14. Does dribbling the clock down, at the end of the half, ever (EVER) work? It seemingly leads to a poor shot 98% of the time.
  15. Couple of possessions ago we got away with USC getting four attempts but still ending up without a basket.
  16. It might be the Michters Small Batch but I think I just saw an authoritative slam from Bailey !!! EDIT: just saw him eat leather so I guess I am still sober.
  17. UCLA and USC aren’t, to say the least, intimidating environments.
  18. USC gets to 16 WITHOUT A MISS but we are only down 4.
  19. I get what you are saying. Cig had to say to himself…..Tino was a really good QB coach for me but is this really what he wants to do at this point in his career? Is he really “all-in”? Cig obviously feels Tino is the solution but I agree with you that there had to have been a pro and con list in regards to his potential return. Cig decided to hire Tino so WELCOME BACK !!
  20. I’d guess little to no impact on Hoover. Hoover still has Cig, Shannahan’s offense, Becker/Marsh, good OL and RB room and prior to Whitmer the braintrust put Rourke in the NFL and the 2 QB’s prior to him were league MVP’s. Lots to make Hoover feel good about his decision.
  21. I’m not sure but do recall that years ago (maybe ? the Lynch era) I posted that our class would have been the 6th or so rated class in CONFERENCE USA!! That class was full of 1 and 2 stars and IU was the only power conference offer many of them received. I realize Cig has done wonders with low rated guys but at least he had post-high school tape on some of them (Sarratt, Fernando, Tucker, Daley, etc) as opposed to taking a flyer on all unproven 1-2 star hs guys. What a world!! Cigs eye for talent, and development skills, combined with a wider choice of recruits will help keep this train rolling.
