I've screwed up on this I am playing around on this and it tells me that I can't claim any more players because I have hit the maximum for the season and I'm short on positions.

I have 4 players out of 8 active and 1 out of 3 on reserve. And I can't claim anybody else.

I am going to have an incomplete team going into the season. I tried to drop and add in order to claim and didn't realize there was a max.

Does it do it automatically?

Only 2 bench spots. You can shift ahead each week and put the 8 guys you want in, in the starting lineup. Week 1 is just this weekend. Week 2 starts Monday.
