The Hoosiers join Illinois, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Miami (Ohio) in extending a scholarship to the 6-foot-3,190-pound Ramsey.

 

Ramsey will strongly consider IU moving forward.

 

"I enjoyed it," Ramsey said. "Coach (Kevin) Johns really made a good impression as well as the rest of the coaching staff."

 

The basketball game was one of the highlights.

 

"Got a chance to see a game in Assembly Hall and the atmosphere was great," Ramsey said. "I really got to see what the Indiana fan base was all about."

 

The 247Sports Composite ranks Ramsey as the nation's No. 29 pro-style passer. As a junior he threw for 2,062 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for another 908 yards and 12 scores.
