IU vs. SMU Odds/Predictions

Well here we are, Indiana's first real challenge or so they say. This is the one Hoosier Nation has been looking at, and marked on their IU head poster. So many questions, will this team keep flowing, with the addition of three guys, one of which has never played a real game in Assembly Hall. Whats the starting lineup going to look like? Is Troy going to start? Does Stan even play at all? I cant answer those questions but here is what the "experts" are saying about us and our chance of grabbing the W.

Indiana 28th (dropped 3 spots from last game)

 

SMU 39th also (22nd in the land)

 

Ken likes us by 5 with a 71% chance of snagging the W.

I like our team. This is our first test against a quality team, and some bugs. We need Troy and Emmit to help Hanner inside. Our shooting will be key, along with interior defense.

For me personally, the only certainty is uncertainty. This will be our first test against a decent team with an appreciable post presence. We have the shooters to score and I like the home floor, but it will be interesting to see how the returning players mesh back into game flow and most importantly, find out what our interior game is made of as well as what our game plan is to address any inside deficiencies. That said, it will be close as our shooters keep us in it, and I say we cover thanks to our improvement at the charity stripe. Brown will have them ready to play, especially after that drubbing they just took.
