Nah. 0-11. They discover that there was an issue at the ISU game and just vacate the score. Purdue beats us in overtime 91-94.

I predict our defense will have an easy year watching from the sidelines.  Again.

Am I the only one that still has faith in us reaching a bowl game? Okay we lost to Bowling Green, but when you look at it, their fast paced offense was what gave our defense problems. These guys are still learning the new system and you could see they had issues lining up and getting ready for the following play. When the defense had time to get ready, they usually were able to make a play. Hell this loss might motivate them to play better. I think we beat Maryland at home along with North Texas and Purdue. That gives us 4 wins, plus hoping we can beat Iowa and someone else (Big Ten is really down this year) to get us to the 6 wins that we need.

But that's the whole point. It only gets harder from here. Bowling Green's offense may be the worst we see all year

As absolutely incompetent, down right friggin' horrid as we were against Michigan last year, that's how we looked against BGSU.  I don't care what their offensive system is (and BG is no offensive power), we should NEVER look that pathetic against a second string MAC QB.  Not their starting QB, their back up.

 

I expected growing pains, but what we saw against Bowling Green goes beyond growing pains.  That was just a dismal defense.
