Goodin tosses a 4-hit shutout and our Hoosiers beat Boise State 5-0.  We scored our 5 runs on 8 hits; we left 7 on base.  We were aided by 5 Boise St. walks.  Our game against South Dakota will start shortly with Wood on the mound.

We've blown open our South Dakota game scoring 6 runs in the top of the third.  A 3-run homer by Baez and a 2-run shot by Lacefield.  We lead 7-0.

Final 9-0 in 5 innings.  Wood pitched 4 innings and gets the win.  Askland pitched the final inning.   The two only allowed 5 South Dakota hits so it was a very good day for our pitching staff.  

Tomorrow at 1:15 we play #4/5 Arizona before returning to Bloomington for a Tuesday afternoon game with Miami (OH).  Next Thursday thru Saturday we'll play 6 games in Madiera Beach, FL.

#4 Arizona takes a 6-1 win over our Hoosiers as we could only muster 1 hit off Arizona pitching.  Goodin (7-7) went the distance and gave up 8 hits, 3 of which were for extra bases.  Tuesday we host Miami (OH) at 4:00.

Emily Goodin pitched a heckuva game against Miami (OH) only giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.  She faced a total of 24 batters and recorded 14 K's, a new career high.  Finally in the bottom of the 7th inning we scored on a Jenkins RBI single for a 1-0 win.  Ladies now head south as Thursday thru Saturday they'll play 6 games in Madiera Beach, FL.

Hoosiers did win their first game today against Creighton 10-1 but StatTracker wasn't functioning so I can't provide any details.  They're in the middle of the 3rd in game #2 against Toledo and our Hoosiers lead 2-0.
