I hate this. Next, they're going to rule that you can't high five your teammates. This is ridiculous.

If the problem is knocking the uprights off balance, then penalize the team when that actually happens. Call it a delay of game penalty and assess it on the kickoff.

I guess it's not a big deal as it doesn't really change the game at all.

But then again, why make a rule that doesn't have a positive effect on the game in any way? Dunking the ball over the crossbar has been around forever, and it's only caused a problem one time. Seems pointless to me
