I thought it was Thursday too, but that was the long track event. Short track is tonight. Edit: I kind of lied. 1000m is tonight. Not a huge difference, just a technicality.

I have a hard time getting into the Olympics until it's the medal rounds.  The Prelim rounds are tough.  I have an even harder time getting into them when they are halfway around the world.

 

But go Team USA all the same!!!!  

 

As far as winter events go, I love the Luge and the Skeleton.  Given the chance, I'd do that out in a heartbeat.  Plus i'd look damn sexy in one of those race suits!  lol

Something is telling me that he only was doing the main downhill or whatever it's called. I sweat watching that event, no lie. A girl dislocated her spine yesterday or today doing Super G. Scary stuff.

Yeah Skeleton is one of the probably 18 winter events I would refuse to do out of sheer terror. They also said the slopestyle course where the rider cracked their helmet was horrible. The jumps were too steep.

No you wouldn't! However, the US womens lugers looked great in them. Yeah, I hate it being halfway around the world, cause its really hard to catch the events you want to see. The only curling I've seen was GBR taking down South Korea earlier.

Funny, in the USSR days, it seemed like most Russian female athletes were, uh, lacking in any feminine appearance. Nowadays, there are a lot of hot looking Russian women competing! I guess we have to give Putin a little credit.

Hey Reb, maybe if we quit our jobs and dedicated the next four years of our lives to curling we could make the 2018 winter games.  I'm sure we could find a couple of knuckleheads around here to join us.  

 

We could wear candy stripes as our curling uniforms.
