Indiana @ Michigan State Odds/Predictions

Recommended Posts

Tonight our Odds/Predictions against  a very good MSU team, are not looking so great. First off Ken Pomeroy predicts MSU grabs this win with a score of 80-64, giving Indiana an 8 percent chance of winning this one ;Sagarin giving the Spartans 14.5 points. Currently MSU is ranked 3rd in both the AP and coaches poll, as well being ranked 5th in Ken Pomeroys rating system. As all of you know Indiana is not ranked currently in any poll, but are ranked 79th in Ken Pomeroys ratings.

The line:

Indiana +12 @ MSU -12 (Indiana the road underdog, tipoff @ 7pm)

Around the B1G:

Purdue -2 @ Northwestern +2 (Purdue the favorite tipoff @ 9pm)

Go ahead guys throw out your predictions lol, although im quite sure we all know how this game is gonna end up tonight. Ill try to be hopeful but coming out of the Breslin Center with a win will be tough.

I personally think 12 is a little generous. They killed us last time and we are coming off of a bad loss. Maybe our guys can turn it around tonight.

so youre saying it should be a little higher? I think 12 is high, an 8 percent chance of winning is already bad enough lol! I do agree with you though, they murdered us at home and now its at the breslin center, but then again i could see IU keeping it closer than 12 points too.

Not necessarily saying it should be higher, but it's still a little generous. Pomeroy hit it on the head, I believe, by giving us the 8% chance and having us lose by 16.
