Whatchu got??

I'll share some when I get a moment.  Although, looking through this thread, I don't think you're going to like what I share.  I'm more of a country fan than anything, and I don't see much country music here.  :onthequiet:

Welcome Aboard. Does not bother me. I might dig some up. Can it be 10+ years old? lol.

I am particular about my music, but genre is rarely my concern. I listen to rock, country, bluegrass, classical, jazz, etc. I have probably listened to more country music in my life than I have any other genre. But yes, most of its over 10 years old. A lot of its older than I am. About the only two styles I don't listen to are opera and rap. If they wanted me to listen to opera, they'd sing more of it in English. Same with rap, but it really just sucks.

Some modern country artists actually play a style reminiscent of rock from the 50s and 60s.  Of course a lot put more of a pop twist on it too.  While I really like listening to Brad Paisley's guitar lines, he is one heck of a guitar player, I'll never complain about some Johnny Cash.

Rap shouldn't even count as music.  That stuff is turrible.

Seems to me like Don Henley commented 15 years ago that the country music of that time was pretty much what the Eagles had done in the 70's. Doesn't matter, I like the Eagles, Patsy Cline, Garth Brooks or the Zac Brown Band. Never have understood how some people claim one style of music and won't listen to anything else. Hell, crank up some Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem and lets go!

Agreed.  I'm not an Elitest when it comes to genre's.  I'm not a big country fan, but I can stomach some of it.

I listen to country most of the time and I like rock too. But I can't stand rap or the screaming stuff. That stuff drives me nuts. There's a difference between Pantera screaming and the new "emotional" screaming kids listen to. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
