Indiana vs UConn Post Game Thread

Right on 41.  AE did a very good job for us last night, and was hoping he would get a few more minutes with some of the guys struggling.  He used his distance shooting as a fake weapon, meaning he used shot fakes to get his man up in the air, to where he could make very smart plays.  Once he gets adjusted to the game speed, we may see more of him.  We need his leadership and calmness out on the floor.  Most of the guys get excited in the moment (including Yogi and Sheehey), and we need a guy like AE to keep it together.  Jordan and Cody did that for us last year.  I know a lot of people gave Jordan a hard time, but everyone underestimated his leadership, which to me was his best quality.  The Temple game was very evident of that in the Tournament.  We ran so much smoother with him on the floor.

I felt like Stan deserved more minutes last night, however, it's hard when Gordon was playing so well.  You have to have Yogi out there, and Gordon took Stan's minutes.  Props to Stan for his play last night.  He really stepped up when Coach yelled at him.

Etherington hasn't shown an outside shot since he's been here though.

I think he has the "small town set-shooter" stereotype without ever having to prove it.
