Yeah ok.  The only thing I am trying to figure out is what your real name is before we play whack-a-troll if that is where you take it.  You know, since most people who graduate in 95 find their way to this website of all places to talk up RMK and wussification of America.  You know, actually if you want to stay, stay.  But, you know our rules.  You know we won't bend on them.  If you don't want to stay, that is on you, but you are running out of forums.  Keep that in mind.  Don't bash players.  You can discuss what they need to do to get better, but don't bash them.  If that is wussification to you on this site, you will go back to the only place left very quickly.  Before you try to tell me I don't know what I am talking about, save it.

I'm really not a troll. I love Hoosier basketball passionately and without apology. I've never heard of the Scout, but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks Angler, I'm over in Newburgh, so my TYPE might be your neighbor.

When I set up this site, it was important to me to have a place where Hoosiers could come and discuss their teams.  In doing so, I wanted to make sure posters weren't bashing kids for having a bad game.  It's one thing to have a discussion about struggles and who is currently struggling, but there is no need to call a kid out for sucking or wasting a spot on the team.  I'm not saying you did this, but we've had quite a few drive by posts in the last week that has us a little on our toes.  We don't want to let the boards get out of control.

 

We have plenty of members on this site with VERY close ties to current and former players, we want to keep things civil.  With that out of the way, I hope you can respect that and continue to post here while following our simple guidelines.

How about we just tell all the players they won and they all get the MVP because they tried hard or they have potential or some day they might just help the team. This isn't bitty ball ladies, and I'm nauseated by the language police, and the folks helping to reframe to the positive. This political correctness shrouded in happy happy joy joy is symptomatic of the wussification of our culture. I'm not sure what you are talking about or even what it has to do with what's been said. There's a difference between saying what you think and being an jerk. I'd venture a guess that I'm probably a lot rougher on myself/others than you but saying a kid should leave the school over a bad game has nothing to do with "wussification" and everything to do with overreacting and just plain ignorance. If he needs benched then bench him but grown men talking utter trash about a 19 year old kid is pathetic especially when the kid will probably be more successful at his chosen path than the exact people dissing him. If you or anyone else can play better then by all means enroll and lace them up. If not sit there, shut up, root for your team, and talk Hoosier basketball. If you have constructive criticism by all means add it but saying a kid is worthless and that he should go away is flat out pathetic.
