three point threat?

Recommended Posts

I think Yogi has shown the most potential to be our biggest threat from 3. I also think that if given a bigger role, Etherington could be a spark from 3 off the bench.

Yogi - Vonleh can shoot it as well. Gordon is actually a decent three point shooter, but won't light it up. Honestly it's a good question we can't answer yet.

My final answer: I just hope someone steps up. Could care less who lol.

I think this team could be a sneaky good three-point shooting team. They won't take a lot or be nearly as good as the past two years, but they'll take smart, select shots from behind the arc. Gordon and Sheehey aren't great, but can knock some down. Yogi might be the best on the team. Hollowell is a good shooter as well.

We need Yogi, Sheehey, and JH to be threats from 3 or we will have teams playing zone and packing the middle. CTC solved the problem with the recruiting class next year, but I don't see us having the pure shooters this year. Hopefully our defense, length and athleticism will allow us to become a tough team to beat by the end of the year even if we aren't the best 3 point shooting team. I don't know that we have ever put the type of athletes we can put on the floor this year at all 5 positions. Can't wait to watch them mature. Next year, watch out!

Definitely Yogi...went to a few of his high school games and he was clutch from beyond the arch. He's definitely been working more on his inside game but he is still pretty versatile from pass to his 3 pointers plus he's really quick on his feet and has amazing footwork

From everything I've read he's been working more on the 3 than inside game.
