Courtney Roby

Courtney played WR for the Hoosiers from 2001-2004 and was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round (68th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft.  He spent his first two seasons with the Titans before being signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2007. Roby signed with the New Orleans Saints midway through the 2008 season where he played until 2012.

Signed with the Falcons today. He joins fellow mate Adam Repogle.

Roby enters his ninth NFL season, signed by the Falcons in June. He didn’t play in 2013, but brings a veteran influence that will only benefit the group. In eight seasons, Roby has recorded 25 receptions for 332 yards and one TD, along with three rushes for 19 yards.

The Falcons have promoted WR Freddie Martino from practice squad to the active roster and released WR Courtney Roby.
