Pagoda Posted February 17 Posted February 17 This is FYE June 2025, so it only includes the 2024 football season. I can't read the article, but the AI summary seems to provide the details. This is a big revenue jump. $183M revenue for 2025, up ~$10M from 2024, but in reality it's more like up ~$35M from 2024 because 2024 revenue included a one-time loan from the university to the athletic dept. that's ~$25M more than usual. Bottom line is this is a 20% or so revenue increase. The power of football. $10M surplus is great. I'd think our athletic dept revenue is going to be up quite a bit again this upcoming fiscal year (which will have 2025 football). As far as I can tell, nice work IU (Scott). This would also not include the naming rights to the field, right? Quote

Correct, the naming rights deal happened in August '25 and this is for the period ended June 30, 2025. Another way to look at this: FY22 we were 11th out of 14 teams in the conference FY25 (latest reported) we're middle of the conference FY26 I think we've got a good shot to be top third of the conference IU has seriously leveled up. Financial performance of the athletic dept can be boring, but as we know it's very important and this is great news. HinnyHoosier, Home Jersey, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 6 Quote
