I don't typically start a recruit thread unless we see multiple reports or a tweet from the player that an offer has been extended.  In Mingo's case, the only thing I've seen is the article below from The Daily Hoosier that contains this:    Mingo told national 247Sports analyst Brandon Jenkins Indiana is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.  IU assistant coach Rod Clark appears to be leading the charge for Indiana.  So if we're recruiting him that hard...................

Yeah, Mingo’s 1 of those kids who has an offer even if he doesn’t. He can go anywhere.

We're really swinging for the fences in recruiting. We'll see how it works out with this staff. They do seem to be doing a good of getting traction and turning that into visits. There's always the portal in they can't land a few.

Pretty clear they’re really invested in the high end 1’s and the high end 5’s. Would think among the 1’s they’re in on Mingo would be by far the hardest one to get. But they’ve got a bunch of money and the keys to the car to give one of them. Someone’s gonna take them up on it.

Odd that he says we're recruiting him the hardest and we're not listed on any of the services

IMO it's because no formal offer has been extended for the services to report.  It's an if you want to come to IU, we'll make a spot for you kind of thing.

That's where you gotta go hard. The market for those two positions in the portal will only get slimmer.

I really liked watching his older brother play. Imagine a backcourt of the Mingos and VJ Edgecome? They teach defense at that school. I think he's more of a two, but the best perimeter defender I the country.

Kayden’s a pleasure to watch. Kid’s a bulldog. Penn St did really well there. And I agree that Dylan’s not a true PG while the other 2 kids definitely are. But Dylan’s said  that he thinks he is and whomever’s in on him will recruit him that way for sure.

I get the feeling that DeVries likes a bigger pg. Idk why. Small was physical, Branham fits that mold maybe. Kayden was my favorite pg in the class. I thought he was a leader and tough as nails.
