I just hate Adidas apparel. It's an easy choice for me. Oh and Nike uniforms are better.

Why is their apparel better? I just don't see it. Here's your comparison:

My point? They all make the exact same stuff.

In the sense that they both sell shirts, shoes, pants, etc. it’s the exact same stuff… doesn’t always necessarily fit the same. Sometimes the same sizes are cut differently by different manufacturers, so they sit on your body differently and fit differently. People have their own preferences, but a lot of people tend to prefer Nike. Younger people also find Nike “cooler” I guess, though I don’t really care that much about who our apparel comes from. This is not a topic I feel strongly about at all.

I think the point is, with NIL no shoe company is offering anywhere near that kind of payout to universities anymore.

Why should Nike give a new fat contract to Duke when they can give it directly to Cooper Flagg instead? Guys like Flagg are the reason Nike is interested in Duke in the first place; his endorsement and wearing of their gear is worth more to Nike that every other Duke athlete combined.

What he said.

Nike is unquestionably the cooler brand for football and basketball. I’m also sure some basketball recruits instantly cross us off the list being an Adidas school. Sounds crazy but guarantee it’s true, just as the Jordan brand is cool and gives a slight edge to schools like UNC, Michigan, and Florida.
