Offered by T. Moren….Ashley MacCalla from Middletown High School in New York 5’10” guard per espn rating 93.  I suspect that will go up by 2027.  3 years away

Plays AAU on the Girl's EYBL circuit for NYC Exodus.  Didn't find any real recent info on her.

ASHLEY MACCALLA, MIDDLETOWN (NY) - UNCOMMITTED

Ashley MacCalla burst onto the national scene this summer with her play for Exodus NYC. She's one of the premier perimeter athletes. MacCalla’s burst in the open floor and playmaking ability at the rim is a separates her from her peers.  As MacCalla’s skills continue to flourish, expect her offensive production to keep growing. She lists scholarship offers from notable names like: Georgia, Maryland, Michigan and Ohio State.

Jan. '23 from NYC Hoops -

Ashley MacCalla ( Middletown '27) has been on fire to begin the season. Last year, MacCalla was a varsity star as just a 7th grader and is once again this year dominating the competition. A combo guard, MacCalla can score the ball in bunches and has elite athleticism.

MacCalla recently had 41 points in a 65-36 win against Washingtonville. She also recently had a 23-point game against Marlboro, followed by a 29-point game against Pine Bush. MacCalla holds offers from Ohio State and George Washington.

At 5"10' , MacCalla has lightning speed without the ball. Her length and skill allow her to finish easily through traffic. MacCalla is also a consistent rebounder on both ends of the floor. On defense, MacCalla's speed and anticipation interrupts opposing teams, as she can get steals and zoom to the other end of the floor.  MacCalla is so athletically gifted that she is also a flag football star. There is no ceiling to Macalla's potential. With a vast amount of time and talent, it will be exciting to continue to watch MacCalla hoop for the next few years.

Dushawn London with another paywalled story on an IUWBB target.  Along with IU, other schools mentioned are Miami, GA Tech and Ruger.  She's been on campus with her team and "I really like Coach Teri."  She's ranked in the top 50 by the 3 major services.

Another target that I'm unable to find sources for how her season is going.  MaxPreps reports their record as 10-3 but no individual player stats are posted and none of her games are streamed on NFHS.  Prior to this season, she attended Middletown HS in Middletown, NY but transferred to St. James Performance Academy in Springfield, VA for the current season.  At Middletown, McCalla started playing on the varsity as a 7th Grader, and eclipsed the 1,000 career point mark as a freshman.
