Class of '66 Old Fart

(2026) - SF Emmanuel "Manny" Green

Recommended Posts

Eric Bossi from last weekend's 3SSB event.

Manny Green, SF, Atlanta Celtics- Currently ranked No. 48 in the 2026 rankings, Green is an explosive wing who can really attack the rim in transition and via strong drives in the halfcourt. He's looking more confident as a jump shooter than when we first saw him this time last year but it's his physical dominance that really stands out.

One is not like the others.

Yup, but I’ll tell ya what, Jonas Hayes is a pretty good coach and has a reputation for being incredibly wired in Georgia recruiting. If he has the resources and given the ridiculous depth of talent down there it wouldn’t be a shock if he turned Georgia St into 1 of those MM’s that high majors won’t play.

This is a previous target that may not get any play from the new staff but FWIW.

Brandon Jenkins from West Mania this past weekend -

Manny Green who ranks No. 60 overall in the national junior class. The 6-foot-6 wing out of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grive High may have been the most impressive recruit we spotted on the day. He is a fluid athlete with a quick first step and clear feel for the game. He can get to the rim, bury the trey ball, and is exciting watch when he gets out on the break.

Not a lot of players in the class moves the way Green does. He plays with a great motor and has a level of agility that matches his current level of recruitment. Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, and a few other schools are making him a priority. SEC schools will be all over him as a prospect and from what we saw, he has a very strong chance to raise his profile in the coming months.
