Good for Grace. And there are definitely worse lives to have. Our Niece took a semester abroad in Australia , straight fell in love with the place, transferred there and has no intention of ever leaving.

Agree Ausi land is nice, but I just don't understand why she didn't make it in the WNBA, clearly has the skill set.

I think she ran into the JHS thing a little bit. There are so many players with broad skill sets but no single elite skill where if they find the exact right opportunity and moment they can establish themselves and if they don’t they don’t. Imagine she’ll get another swing at it.

JHS also dealt with continuing injuries. I tend to think it was more on the staff / coach in her case, she didn't really seem to get a legit shot. There's a lot of talent at her position generally but she was under-utilized.

L A Sparks Public Relations Dept.  -  The Los Angeles Sparks have signed guard Grace Berger to a rest-of-season hardship contract. In 47 games over two WNBA seasons, the 26-year-old is averaging 3.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, converting 44.1% from the field and 46.2% from beyond the arc. Berger was drafted seventh overall by the Indiana Fever out of the University of Indiana.

Ironically, the Sparks play the Storm (Mack Holmes) tonight.

Had she even left the country yet?

Awesome. Another chance for her, under a new staff.

Grace, Holmes and others get to hang out in some cool places and play some basketball while they are still young.
