Some of my B1G headscratchers:

• I don't get the Maryland at #16 love at all. Rated higher than an Ohio State team that has four returning starters?
• IU at 33? Seems more than fair for a team that was below .500 last year.
• Illinois at 34?!? I cannot imagine! They lost their two (by far) best players, four of their top seven players, and their top two assistant coaches.
• And finally--Rutgers is coming off of a close second round tourney loss to a Final Four team, and has a starting lineup of Geo Baker, Harper, Mulchahy, O'Connell, and Omoruyi. To me that feels like a top five in the B1G team and far better than #36 nationally. That's got to be light years better than what Illinois returns.

I think the list is pretty good. I agree with maryland being overhyped.

Maryland will be good, but not winning the Big 10 good, in my opinion

Can we just rename Rutgers “Aaron Craft”? Baker and Harper are back again??
