Popular Post Stuhoo Posted March 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2021 Story time! Our family adopted a second dog, named Simon. Simon came to us from a difficult situation. Simon terrorized our primary dog, Cody. Simon snuck off to pee and poop under beds. Simon hated us in so so many ways, no matter how we tried to love him and train him. Finally, it was too much. And, we found a good next home for Simon. And we decided to preserve our family sanity by getting Simon to another home that might be a better fit. As the day approached there were massive regrets and emotional turmoil because Simon was leaving. I woke up early and took Simon for a walk. He happily peed on bushes and pooped in the neighbor’s yard. My wife and kids said their goodbyes and Simon and I had a few final moments in the house together before we departed. As I turned to take Simon to the car, I saw that Simon, who had just been outside, was dumping a giant dog poop under the dining room table. Simon wanted to make it crystal clear that it was not working out, and that it was time. Tonight, Archie Miller was Simon the dog, coaching his team to a performance that made it crystal clear that it was not working out, and that it was time.
