Last Time Out
Two weekends ago the Hoosiers opened up the 2021 slate by going 4-2 with games against Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Indiana kicked off its 2021 season by splitting a pair of games Nebraska. In game one, the Cornhuskers took a 1-0 lead in the fourth innings, but with a double by Grayson Radcliffe, an RBI double by Gabbi Jenkins, and a RBI single Bella Norton the Hoosiers were able to secure a 2-1 lead in the fourth that would hold on for the first victory of the season. Nebraska would even the series in game two as a late inning rally by the Hoosiers would fall short, 4-2.

Wisconsin was on deck for day two in Leesburg as Indiana swept the Badgers to improve to 3-1 on the season.  The Hoosiers scored one run in the fourth and four runs in the fifth to secure the 5-4 win in game one. Indiana's bats came alive in game two as Radcliffe led the squad with three RBI. The Hoosiers would go on to complete the sweep by a score of 9-3.

Minnesota got the best of the Indiana pitching in game one on Sunday as the Hoosiers would fall 6-2. The final game of the weekend proved to be a bounce back game as Norton led the team by reaching base on all four at bats. For the first time since 2011 the Hoosiers were able to defeat the Gophers by a score of 7-5 to secure a 4-2 record coming out of opening weekend.

More poor IU defense and back to back doubles by NW in the top of the 4th and Goodin is replaced by Natalie Foor with no outs and she gives up another NW double that scores 2 runs.  And then yet another NW double scoring 2 more runs.  Through the middle of the 4th and NW leads 6-0.  Might be a long weekend in Leesburg, FL.

Game #1 already in the bottom of the 4th and our women are pounding Rutgers pitching and lead 10-2.  Emily Goodin started and Amber Linton replaced her after we took a quick lead.

We scored 2 in the 1st; 2 in the 2nd and then Brittany Ford unloaded a grand slam home run in the 3rd and Gabbi Jenkins with an RBI single to make it 9-2.

In the 4th, Grace Lorsung got her first career home run, a solo shot, and it's a 10-2 Hoosier lead.
