BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University women's basketball team will hold a virtual Hoosier Hysteria, presented by Smithville, at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 18.  Hoosier fans can view the event on the program's Facebook page.

The program will feature player introductions, a look inside a team scrimmage and interview with Coach Moren. IU fans are also encouraged to donate to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank at hhfoodbank.org or via their Venmo page at HoosierHills-Foodbank.

Seventh year head coach Teri Moren returns a team that set a record 24 wins in 2019-20 and brings back four starters from that campaign. The program is highlighted by senior guard Ali Patberg and junior guard Grace Berger, a pair of All-Big Ten First Team and WBCA All-American honorable mention selections last season. Senior guard Jaelynn Penn and junior forward Aleksa Gulbe round out the returning starters while sophomore Mackenzie Holmes, who set the program's single season record for field goal percentage, and eight other letterwinners from a season ago are back for the Hoosiers.

The Hoosiers were selected to finish first in a vote by both the Big Ten coaches and media on Wednesday and are ranked No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. In addition, three Hoosiers have earned a combined five preseason honors including Patberg (preseason All-Big Ten, Nancy Lieberman Award watch list), Berger (preseason All-Big Ten, Cheryl Miller Award watch list) and redshirt junior guard Nicole Cardaño-Hillary (Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list).

The 2020-21 NCAA women's basketball season is slated to begin on November 25 with the Hoosiers still working out details for their final schedule. More information about the season will be made available when it's ready on IUHoosiers.com.
