Final score 1-0 as our Hoosiers just could not muster any consistent offense getting only 5 total shots, 3 on goal and 3 corners.  UCLA had 11 shots, 6 on goal and 8 corners.  Lauren Costello and Camille Hamm both assessed yellow cards plus one assessed against our team.   We start off 0-2 in B1G play and it likely won't be any easier on Sunday against USC (5-1-1).

No score at the half between IUWS and USC in what sounds like a pretty stodgy game as the teams have taken just 6 combined shots.  USC with 4; IUWS with 2, each with 1 on goal.  Each team with 2 corners.   Gerstenberg did have to make 2 really good saves.  It's been raining in Bloomington which probably accounts for the way the game has been played thus far.

Final score 2-0.  Women fall to 5-3-1 on the season and 0-3 in conference play.   Hoosiers 8 shots; 3 on goal; 5 corners.  USC 9-4-3.  Much like our men's team, we don't have any real scorers and really miss Paige Webber's offense.

Next up is a west coast road trip to face Oregon on Thursday night and Washington on Sunday afternoon.

IUWS falls 1-0 to Washington and is now (6-4-1) (1-4) on the season.   Don't play again until next Sunday at Iowa.  Today we could only muster 3 shots for the entire match; 1 on goal.  Washington with 11 shots; 7 on goal.  We didn't have a single shot in the first half.

A total of 6 yellow cards were issued, 4 of them against us:   Paredes, Britt, Albert and one against the team.  Paredes also picked up a red card.

Good thing we're a football school because we sure aren't a futbol school this year.

And 0-0 is how it ends after 90 minutes.  Second half at least had a little more action.  For the match we had 7 total shots; 2 on goal and 3 corners.  PUke finished with 4-1-1.   We retain the Golden Boot based on winning last year's game and we split a point for the Governor's Cup competition.

Sunday afternoon at 1:00 we host Wisky (6-3-4) (2-2-3).  Televised n B1G+
