CSP Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Actually.. last year in conference play JN was pretty solid. Avg 10p 3r 3a... 46% FG 38% 3pt TOV were still a problem, but there was plenty of reason to belief JN was going to give us much more than he has.. same with Green. They simply haven't... hindsight is 20/20 on the conversation with McKinley. thebigweave, patrickmorriso9, coonhounds and 2 others 5 Quote
CSP Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Also RJ has avged 15p 6r 3a... TOV a problem at 2.5 a game. He does play good defense though. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Freshman mistakes. This team would be so much more formidable with a legitimate PG. Just give me someone who can make smart decisions. PLEASE! At this point Green may be the best of two evils. At least he's crafty. ROJO was huge last night. He has been the only (somewhat) reliable scorer outside of Morgan. I stand by my comments about starting Green over Newkirk. Quote

But 2 of the past 3 he's been solid. Hopefully he is growing up and can have a good 3 days of practice and start against MSU. BGleas and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

I would bet he is getting less minutes this year, on a team that lost a guard that got a lot of minutes. Just my opinion, but I never expected anything out of him this year. Quote

I presented you his numbers in conference play last season. I'm not sure exactly what you're arguing. Quote

I am not arguing. Just talking. I see there are a lot of arguments on here though. Yeah....not really into arguing with internet strangers. Cheers. Str8Hoosiers 1 Quote

The real truth is JN gave Archie reason to believe he could be a very solid player this year. He just hasn't performed. mookied39 1 Quote

Those were on a better team, with much better players around him, and again a different coach. JN thrived better in Crean's system obviously. I doubt Archie would have given Josh a first let alone a 2nd look. Quote
