Nintendo switch

OoT will be hard to top. A bad Zelda game is still better then any other non Zelda game made. My top 5 Zelda games are
1.Oot
2. A link to the past
3. Twilight princess
4 majoras mask
5 skyward sword ( awesome story)
You can always find time for Zelda
I didn't plan it but my 2 weeks vacation I take for basketball coincides with the switch release. I can't run through this Zelda game like I have done with every other one because my 5 year old wants to watch me play it

I'm gonna wait a bit before trying to pick up a switch, hopefully the price drops a little. Apparently the new Zelda is receiving some of the highest ratings, just under OoT (which is considered one of the top games of all time). I'm most interested to see if the switch can stand up to the next gen of systems. Nintendo always seems to release in this awkward time between new PS/Xbox systems.

That's a good list. I haven't played skyward Sword yet. I really liked Minish Cap and Link between worlds also.

Only played the new Zelda for about an hour but WOW my mind is blown. Completely blown I would not have blamed Nintendo for cancelling the Wii U version because this game is a system seller like no other.

Just got done playing for about 2 hrs. Massive and awesome. I just completed the 3rd shrine and 1 more to go for the mission. Cooking food is awesome and will be a big part of the game I already acquired a valuable item in a side quest for the old man. Zelda is my favorite gaming franchise of all time.

Mine too. OoT may get bumped down a notch looking possible.

I missed that quest. Got off the plateau. Gonna go back and explore more but had to see the rest of the world.

Turns out if you miss the quest you can still get it, thankfully been climbing mountains and its been a life saver.

This game really is just fantastic, I have sort of skipped some of the basics like cooking and making elixers, need to go back to the plateau and experiment with some recipes.  I have just been too excited to explore, the world is so vibrant and full.  I have been shrine hunting lately, I have been finding 4 then doing all 4 right in a row get that instant payoff.  Used the orbs on Heart Pieces so far but going to get stamina at least the next time.  Theres a shrine I can see but can't find a way to reach as is.  And its apparently related to another shrine so it will be a two'fer.

I have skipped some of the tougher optional fights because I still am getting the hang of the combat in general.  Gonna try and get the hang of that and the healing items and proceed with the story.  Don't know where to even start I am so used to set path in Zelda games.  And in A Link between worlds I kind of instinctively followed the path I used for Link to the Past.

Definitely a different feel not having a linear path to follow.  Nintendo always finds a way to love the industry forward with their games and hardware.  This game is no different.   There is a reason it is getting  10 across the board.   It's on it's way yo becoming a masterpiece. A once in a decade game.   Just sit back and enjoy exploring this massive world. It's been a family event at my household.   My 5 and 3 year old are mesmerized by Link and turning the shrines from orange to blue and my wife always loved watching to try and figure out the awesome puzzles.  I probably won't move forward with the main quest with the Devine beast until I gain more hearts and better weapons (hopefully master sword). If u like climbing visit the Ree Dahee shrine and get the treasure chest in there.

im so glad there is another Zelda nut on this board.   Enjoy this master piece  let me know if I gave away spoilers that u didn't want to hear.   Switch is awesome we went on a trip yesterday and I just picked up where I was playing at home and continued playing in the car

Everything I hear about this game keeps getting better! I really want it but can't justify getting a switch for one game so far, especially with a bunch of PS4 games coming out around now...

Nope no spoilers in my opinion. I'll have to keep an eye out for that shrine. I'm impressed you remember the names lol.

I think I will have to get a switch. Especially if they pull a Majoras mask and release another Zelda soon only on the switch.

42 shrines down and just got reunited with the the best sword in any game... it's in every Zelda game. I'm going to finally head to the main quest and encounter my first Devine beast. The game is still amazing. Definitely well on its way to being my favorite Zelda game
