Follow-up story from Englehardt:

Also regarded as an outstanding hurdler in track and field, Harrison High School quarterback David Felton has announced that he will sign commitment papers to play football for Indiana University on Monday. Felton will be a preferred walk-on for the Hoosiers, said Harrison athletics director Bryan Speer. Felton is a 21st Century Scholar.

Felton, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior, passed for 1,281 yards and 14 touchdowns last fall for the Warriors. He also ran for 1,121 yards and another 11 scores. Felton played wide receiver as a junior.

He won the 60-meter large-school hurdles with a time of 8.14 seconds in March at the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Hoosier Relays at Bloomington. Felton and Harrison teammate Noah McBride competed in the Junior Olympics last summer at Sacramento.
