Lady Hoosiers (4-3) hope to salvage at least 1 game of what has been a brutal 3 game road trip as they face North Texas (2-5) in Denton, TX, which coincidentally happens to be the hometown of IU freshman Bre Wickware. After this game, the ladies return to Assembly Hall for a Thursday night game with Northern KY and 3 days later will host Valpo.

But only 1 TO in the 2nd.   The Ladies needed this game after their struggles in the previous 2.  Hopefully, they'll sustain this effort in the 2nd half.

IU up 70-47 after three.  IU had the lead over 30 until a late 3rd quarter run by North Texas.

Still lead 70-47 but a sloppy 3rd Q with 8 more TO's.  I hope they remember what happened to them in the 4th Q at Auburn.

Final score 94-64 and the Lady Hoosiers move to 5-3 on the season.

Ladies re-grouped to start the 4^th Q and opened with a 10-0 run.  Leading scorers:  Buss  21; Gassion  15; Cahill 15;  Royster  13; Anderson 9.  Rebounding:  Cahill  10 and finishes with a double-double.

Shooting  %  cooled slightly but they still hit 63% for the game and totally dominated the glass with a 44-13 advantage.  TO’s a problem with this team as they had 27 for the game.  What is it with IU basketball and turnover problems?

IU tops UNT, 94-64, as they shoot the fourth-best single game field goal percentage in school history (64.0%).  

And on the road no less.
