  1. Foster will have ended up getting paid ~$10M for 1.25 seasons as a HC, including his ~$6.4M buyout. Being a failed head coach is lucrative. I'm willing to get paid millions to not win games. Where do I sign up?
  2. Bummer. I was hoping he'd still be the coach when we play them in late October.
  3. Not really. I just think their schedule for the rest of the season is a joke.
  4. Currently at 0-2? Of course. I'm not talking about if the playoff was selected right now but when it's selected at the end of the season. They were also top 10 before this game where they lost by 1 point to a top 20 team. They'll drop a bit in the rankings but not too far. Win the next 10 games (very doable, their schedule is a joke) and they'll easily be in the top 12 at the end of the season. If they drop another one, they're out but I think they end up getting in. I'd love nothing more than to be wrong, though.
  5. Swimswam ranks the men's class at #2. Makes sense since there should be multiple NCAA scorers coming in. https://swimswam.com/ranking-the-2025-mens-ncaa-recruiting-classes-1-4/
  6. Like when they lost to NIU last year? I know they're 0-2 now but I think they still will probably make the playoff simply because the rest of their games are very winnable. 10-2 will probably get them in since they're Notre Dame.
  7. Nico's failed power move is looking worse and worse every week. By the end of it all, I wonder how many millions of dollars it will have cost him.
  8. I thought it was being said that UCLA was going to be much better this season, I guess that was wrong. They're even worse than last season. I wish the game against them was sooner.
  9. It's probably only a matter of time before the B1G finds itself in a situation similar to what the ACC had with Clemson and FSU demanding a larger share of the media revenue. Or maybe the next logical step in college football realignment with a new super conference. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/bigten/2025/09/11/ohio-state-buckeyes-big-ten-college-football-super-league/86039939007/ Edit: I see @Pagoda beat me to it.
  10. Wait, wait, wait... you expect us to believe that Archie Miller has a personality!? I call BS.
  11. At least UCLA hired him on the cheap (5 years, $15M). IU paid Woodson like he was actually in demand which made it all the worse.
  12. Rabjohns is saying that as far as he knows there will still be a scrimmage in Assembly Hall, just without all other HH stuff that has traditionally been a part of that.
  13. He sure is. I wouldn't be surprised if he went into politics after his football career is finished.
  14. Has Bloomington North improved (or South regressed) enough since I went there 30 years ago to make it an actual game?
  15. Canceled his visits to IU and Kansas. I'm going to guess he'll end up at Duke.
  16. Even the walk-ons were good 3-point shooters in HS.
  17. Thanks for posting that, it's interesting. He did have Mendoza in another post (bottom left).
  18. Finebaum, probably: "It's not SEC but still a quality loss for Texas/'Bama, pretty much as good as a win. I'm going to ink them into the CFP."
  19. Swimswam has the incoming women's class as #7 in the nation. https://swimswam.com/ranking-the-2025-womens-ncaa-recruiting-classes-5-8/
  20. These deals are typically multiple years so there shouldn't be an issue with Fox for some time. That said, there'll probably be an issue with another network next year as that contract is set to expire. The cost of YouTube TV will probably go up in a few months as a result of this. It does appear to be a long term deal so there shouldn't be an issue with Fox on YouTube TV for a few years.
  21. In addition to the Shackells,Whitlock, and Gulledge mentioned above, here are some other incoming transfers: Men: Aiden Sadler (looks like a pretty good diver) https://swimswam.com/diver-aiden-sadler-transferring-from-georgia-to-indiana/ Women: Jonette Laegreid https://swimswam.com/ncaa-division-ii-record-holder-in-200-breast-jonette-laegreid-announces-transfer-to-indiana/ Macky Hodges https://swimswam.com/ncaa-qualifier-macky-hodges-announces-she-will-transfer-to-indiana/
  22. Like John Hammond, I'm on the same side as the bloodsucking lawyer in this case. Ticketmaster is a scummy company.
  23. The men add a couple more freshmen with good times. The look like they'll be depth pieces for next season. https://swimswam.com/indiana-bolsters-class-of-2029-adds-brandon-fleck-and-david-kovacs-for-2025/
