  1. I hope not. I enjoy seeing them suck.
  2. 17 to IU's 9. The Hoosiers also couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and had the ball stolen 7 times. An all around terrible game for them.
  3. The last semester makes sense since they don't have to worry about maintaining eligibility for the next season. The whole year thing is what has me surprised.
  4. Portland snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Crazy ending.
  5. I thought they had to be working towards a degree of some sort, not just taking classes. Guess I was wrong.
  6. 2 points in a quarter is the fewest points in a quarter this season. So at some point they've either scored only 1 point in a quarter or got shut out for one. Ouch.
  7. Got it. I didn't understand what you meant by that.
  8. I'd argue that it's already in the process of doing that even with Boeheim there. They've been pretty mediocre since joining the ACC. They have had some nice NCAAT runs in that time, though, despite their mediocre regular seasons.
  9. Not sure why you're quoting me. I said it's doubtful he'll use it, which that tweet agrees with. So doubtful that Coach is already counting him as gone. That doesn't change the fact that he could return for a 5th year.
  10. Yes, he could. He has a 5th year of eligibility to use if he wants it. It's doubtful he'll use it though.
  11. I think Dairy Queen acquired that company because you can get Orange Julius at those. It's an orange cream slushy. Pretty tasty.
  12. Yes, and I would venture a guess those who think it's bad probably haven't accepted that we're not at the same level as those teams right now. The fans it doesn't bother have probably accepted that.
  13. Other than fan base d**k measuring contests (mostly online and anonymous), why does it even matter if they storm the court or not? It's a program that just beat the #1 team in a close game which was exciting for a team and fan base that hasn't had a ton of success the last ~5 years. Even more exciting was that it was against Purdue.
  14. I've thought the same. I was disappointed at the time but now I don't care and I'm kind of glad he's not wasting an IU scholarship.
  15. Going back to 2014 (10 seasons, including this one - basically, the time when the majority of the current students probably started paying attention to sports), IU has won only 3 times in 16 games against PU. So the old people like us may think of PU as "little brother" but they've pretty much owned us as far as the current students are concerned.
  16. Right, it's not as though they're storming the court after blowing out unranked Nebraska.
  17. We'll really miss his 9 games per season when he transfers.
  18. You have 5 fouls to give anyways. Have any eligibility left?
  19. TJD has traditionally had problems playing against big bigs like Edey. I think they'll let Edey guard him straight up. This is where TJD's lack of range hurts. If his range was better, he would force Edey to guard him away from the basket and could use his speed to get around him. But as it is, Edey should be able to stay pretty close to the basket and dare TJD to score over him.
  20. There's a good chance ~1/2 the team is different next year. Johnson, Kopp, and Thompson are 100% gone with no more eligibility left. TJD almost certainly gone. Good chance JHS goes pro. I expect Duncomb to transfer. That's 6 players and the incoming recruiting class is only 2 players right now so recruiting the portal hard is a must.
