I hope we have a backup in case he gets tackled and breaks his hip. -
(2026 Transfer) P Hawaii - Billy Gowers to Indiana
go iu bb replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
OMG, he was a 29 year old freshman this season and has played sports professionally. "Gowers was a 29-year-old true freshman this past fall that played professional Australian Rules Football for five years in the AFL. He also competed in the Victorian Football League." -
I like the one where a TTU fan says that they were "bought not built" and gets lit up.

If the donation is to the university, then I don't think it can be used for NIL. Right? It can be used to offset the rev share money, though that wouldn't increase the amount that can be paid out. It can also be used to pay for raises for the staff. Or did he actually give it to a collective and it's just getting reported as being given directly to IU?

I was reading comments on twitter about how he doesn't seem to like basketball that much. I couldn't help but to think that this has been known since he was in high school by anyone who paid attention. I vaguely remember one interview where he seemed more excited about playing the piano or something instead of basketball. I'm sure some people would view having his body as a blessing. He might see it as a curse.

Does he have dirt on you? Did he offer you "protection"? How did this happen!? @Home Jersey congratulations. Well deserved

$SEC math says that the Alabama/OSU game makes their overall record 3-4. It's a win and a loss which is just as good as a win.

Does Johnny Manziel 2.0 actually thinks the weak, transparent apology will help his draft stock? It's pretty obvious to the whole world what an immature dbag the guy is. -

I was very disappointed when I saw this. https://swimswam.com/olympic-gold-medalist-cody-miller-becomes-second-american-swimmer-to-join-the-enhanced-games/ -
I'm pretty sure it's in his contract that if either aren't at IU, his buyout for leaving either drops significantly or completely goes away. I think I remember seeing that.

IUFB Recruiting and Transfer Portal Updates
go iu bb replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I'd be surprised if IU goes after him or Leavitt. 2 is a small sample size, but the quarterbacks they've landed while at IU had much better completion percentages than either of those guys. That seems to be something they look for. -

Another well deserved bonus for him. -
(2027) - Jalen Brown

And Jalen Brown scoring only 22 of those points? Pass. -
Cignetti said that there were no injuries during the game that would have an effect.

I guess the one positive from this is that it happened now instead of the 1st play of the next game.

My first thought after hearing it was after the game and while celebrating was that he did something crazy. Nope. I'm glad that's not the case but man, this really sucks. Next man up.
