  1. Haliburton with an almost half court shot to tie it up to end the half. Ice
  2. I believe they set a game 7 1st quarter scoring record. They were on fire. NBA leading offense in full effect
  3. I understand where you’re coming from. I just think that in today’s game every year matters, and you can’t have a team that is exposed badly by 1 or 2 injuries. That falls on the staff. They need to do their due diligence and fill the gaps so we’re prepared for the inevitable injuries
  4. Haliburton is a star. What a great showing and on the road in hostile NY, seriously outstanding showing and it starts with Carlisle and then is run by Haliburton. Pacers won’t beat the C’s (but damn I’d love it if they did), but they’re still young and have a chance to develop into a contender. Great to see
  5. Yes fair, but also while balancing the need for depth when the seemingly inevitable injuries sideline key players. Last year the team was always short. This year front court depth is limited. Were Ballo to get injured the outlook changes. Don’t need or want a Priller type, but an athlete with upside? Yes
  6. Now can they flip the script and win in NY? Man I can’t say I’m optimistic the way the series has been playing out, but very nice balanced, dominant game from the P’s tn. I lost track of how many guys played, really nice balance
  7. For those of us who don’t have the time to do the digging ourselves, can someone post a team by team breakdown of the portal additions for each team?
  8. Yes yes but he was the best coach ever!! CAM is the GOAT! Better than RMK? Yes!! No one can say otherwise he was sooo great!! There, that should settle it.
  9. I think this qualifies as irony. :)
  10. Whatever, literally every prognosticator had us in, the record and SOS was all there, but again, who gives a damn. All this pounding on CAM bc he never made the tourney, then saying no way he didn't see it was cancelled, is silly. It doesn't matter, everyone here agrees he wasn't a good coach and should've been fired.
  11. No really, there was no question whatsoever. The record and selection was clear, it just didn't happen. Honestly it doesn't matter -- I mean who gives a damn? -- CAM was a bad coach, I don't think anyone here would argue otherwise, and that's the context of this point anyway. He made -- or to satisfy the concern here -- clearly would have made the tournament once, but for Covid. The Technical argument he didn't, because of Covid, is lost on me. It doesn't matter either way, he sucked.
  12. No, he made the tourney the covid year, there was no question but it got cancelled with covid.
  13. I was answering the point that CAM never made the tourney, which is incorrect. Romeo got screwed by injuries just didn’t have a body that would hold up and the hand injury was just bum luck
  14. In fairness we were squarely in the tourney in the covid year, CAM got screwed by that. Terrible coach for IU regardless
  15. Nice addition and a good kid by all accounts. Good to hear
  16. Pay the man! -- Hatton, not you Old Fart :)
  17. Where’s the throw up emoji when you need it lol
  18. And they just fell apart lol. i think they win at home and it’s 3-3. Then they’ll have to step up. Starts with Haliburton, he needs to impose himself, he’s the key for the P’s
  19. And just like that it’s a 7 point game
  20. Meh, Knicks are playing with their backs against the wall on their floor, they’re bringing the energy. We’ll see if the P’s can come back in the second, but regardless P’s will win in Indy. To win the series they have to turn the energy around
  21. OG’s probably done, real shame he was having a monster game bf he left the court — but that’s life in the League, teams that can’t stay healthy will eventually go down, just a matter of time for the Knicks imo, and hey the P’s are looking pretty good
  22. Whoa - that’s damn impressive— props to him, and representing!
  23. I was on Main Street (since TexDOT in its infinite wisdom closed the 288 exit off 610….)
  24. As they say, we shall see. Count me skeptical
  25. Agree, but doubt he's interested in coming in and playing 10-12 minutes a game, unless it's all about getting paid.
