Largely agree but feel IU women's team needs to upgrade its size and athleticism generally. They've been at a size and athleticism disadvantage in a few games now.

Woodson is a fraud and a coward. Probably the worst coach in the B1G. I’m not getting any younger, hard to say can’t wait until next year when you’re pushing into your late 50’s… but let’s see, weighing one year closer to Death vs more of Woodson? Bring on next year and the Grim Reaper

I hear you but just discounting Crean is way, way off imo. Just ignoring that he took a complete dumpster fire (which was courtesy of the administration), zero scholarship players and baseball walkons, to multiple SW16’s, B1G championships and some of our all time favorite IU players, is just wrong imo. Have said it before but besides the disastrous handling of Sampsongate, the real failures within that 25-year period are CAM and Woodson. We were on track to getting “back” under Crean, with the right hire after him, but the Admin blew it. In fairness it/they did make the right choice to move on quickly from CAM - that itself wasn’t wrong / but utterly blew it with the stupid cadre of current trustees in going with Woodson. He never should have been on the short list.

Bako imo is due for a bounce back game, and importantly his potential shooting opens the floor. He’s been waaayyy off, but coming into his slump was our best or second best scorer / outside shooter, and teams respect his outside shooting— those of you advocating against him are not considering how the potential shooting on the floor affects the D, even when he’s in a slump, his scouted shooting opens lanes and generally the floor. Gallo does not do that.

Man this is a hard one to pick. Woodson sucks against NW, always loses. NW is 9-1 at home, generally better at home (and will get some absolutely BS whistles), they have fairly balanced scoring, and they’re clearly better coached. But they’ve really struggled over their past 5 games, they rely mostly on an interior game that should favor us, Ballo has been flat out balling, we just toughed out the W against OSU, and Malik apparently will be back. Screw it, I’m going against the grain, cause, why not IU - 74 NW - 71

Human eyeballs (is that as opposed to doggy eyeballs?) don’t matter for selection lol

Only good “on “paper?” Yes, the paper is the objective criteria considered, your subjective assessment doesn’t matter, but you know that.

100%. All the interim coach talk and mid-season firing is just wishful thinking (imo) which ignores everything the U/Trustees have done with Woodson to date. He’ll be given the rest of the season to accomplish whatever he can. Then he’ll retire, in all likelihood.

A little zen - don’t worry about what you can’t control, enjoy the moment. And Woodson’s goose is cooked
