But he’s not. He’s a Celtic and hasn’t coached a college game (or recruited) in 12 years. Imo, it’s just a re-hashed wishy hope for a long-gone coach that aint happening

Prepare to be disappointed. Really think it'll be someone not even mentioned here (to date), would be thrilled to see Brad S but don't see that happening either. Rainbows and unicorns.

I picked other. Not buying the desperation Brad S yet again (would love to be wrong) and think it’ll be someone no one is publicly talking about.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect. And that seems to be the norm now for this team, for me. Fight PU tough, within scratching distance of a W on the road, but play without focus and heart in others. We never win at Wisconsin, and this is a Wisc team that shoots the three well and is solid all around, we'll lose, but by how much? No idea. Could be a hard fought loss, could be a complete blowout. Who knows with this CMW coached team. Such a waste of talent.

I like the national team experience, that she seems to have a quick release and looks for outlet passes, good positioning for layups and floor understanding -- but she looks like she will need to get a lot stronger, get in the weight room and running, get ready to bang and run in the B1G. Get her conditioning going over the summer, looking forward to seeing how she plays as an experienced foreign frosh coming in. Also, she has my daughter's name, so she rocks.

Ballo has been balling, and bringing energy and anger (well deserved) to the floor game in and game out for some time now. If CMW knew how to run a 1-true big offense with outside shooting we'd be a good team looking at a good tourney run with Ballo anchoring the inside game, but CMW doesn't, so Ballo is stuck leaving his heart on the floor only to have CMW leave his effort wasted. Run an actual modern offense for him, he deserves it.

IU has the money / NIL, the facilities, the conference, the recruiting base, the platform- old blue blood image lurking beneath, the exposure, the ongoing elite development of several other of our sports programs (football, women’s bball, baseball, always soccer), and at least an existing core of good players. We absolutely have the ability to bring in one of the really good coaches out there. No more bad hires. Time to bring in that proven winning, program developing, recruiting, still relatively young, modern bball running coach. I’m an optimist. I think it’s finally going to happen at the end of this season.

So who do people think are currently actually in play behind the scenes. I’d bet it’s no one mentioned so far.
