Agree generally but this season the inside-out game has been miles better, TJD in particular has improved kicking the ball out when the double team comes, and as a result we’ve gone from one of if not the worst outside shooting team in the B1G to one of the better deep shooting teams. It started this season, early we weren’t shooting much or well from outside. Kopp’s numbers are much better for it — he can’t create his own shot, but he has been very good on kicks and ball swings — however the spacing hasn’t been as good the last several games and that impacts his productivity

Yep perfectly fair - but also why I said yeah at some point you need to show tourney wins

In fairness, judging a coach on the one and out format of the tourney, where it’s called March madness for a reason, isn’t a great measuring stick. Consistent conference results in a strong conf like the B1G gives a better picture overall. Yeah, at some point you need to show tourney wins, but there are just so many variables to the one game win or lose format, player health, travel, location, officials, gym / stadium - court, matchups.

This season has been a wacky conference ride of ups and downs, reflects how hard it can be to predict how the season will go at the start. If you told me we’d get swept by NW but sweep Illinois after destroying them at Illinois, and would be in 3d with 4 to go but behind NW, while OSU is down at the bottom with 3 wins…. Looking at Wisconsin down the standings, sub .500 at 7-9: priceless

This morning I picked up my freshly roasted (medium roast) beans from my local coffee roast shop, ground them in my Breville burr grinder (no blade grinders please) after setting the grind size to my percolater, savored the aroma, timed off 8 minutes of percolating, and of course drank it black. There you go

We crushed Illinois at Illinois, during that run of dominant games. The difference is who’s now playing and how much. We’re not the same team now. Of course like the W, but we’re just not the aggressive attacking open up the lanes team we were at this point. Hope that changes

Yeah i tend to think they’ll give Edey extra weight for PU winning the B1G, if they do. Wish we’d not screwed the pooch first half ag NW for so many reasons
