To have a legit/possible shot at winning the B1G we need this game. But even if we just win out at home and go 3-3, we’d be 12-8. I’d love to finish 1st or 2d, but that would still be strong. Really only other driver is how we end up for NCAA seeding I guess. A 3-4 seed is a heck of a lot better than a 5

And the flip side, if he was prosecuted and convicted she would get …. De nada

Someone will hire him, but it's being dropped just bc the gal backed off charges....

The predictions go both ways (predictably), but I like this guy's reasoning: Final Indiana-Northwestern Prediction & Pick After a heartbreaking loss in Assembly Hall the last time these teams met, I expect IU to come out motivated and lay it to Northwestern on the road tonight. Final Indiana-Northwestern Prediction & Pick: Indiana -2.5 (-105) https://clutchpoints.com/college-basketball-odds-indiana-vs-northwestern-prediction-pick-how-to-watch-2-15-2023

I wasn’t sure and checked, he went 0-3 with 3 boards in that game, if you meant Bates. Gallo had that 4-5 game including his 3, and played a big part in that dominant game. -

Besides Stuhoo's point/question on how the 4 works out going forward, it's also somewhat a road game vs home game thing imo for the guards, in particular Bates. I'm not in the give up on him camp, but he needs to find his mojo / confidence again. He's had some excellent games, but without going back and checking I think they were home, and his away game play just hasn't been there (though I saw a post that said he hasn't shown he can pass, and that's just wrong imo, he's had some terrific passes to the post in traffic and otherwise in moving the ball inside). He was outstanding in that MSU game, but has largely disappeared. And in fairness, Gallo has had some real off games offensively, he brings it defensively every game so he's going to play, but when he contributes more on both ends our overall guard play is much better. It's impressive that we've continued to win despite not scoring that well recently, shows just how good TJD and JHS are and that the team does have depth for other players to show up (like Kopp), but we need those other guys to step up again to run deep. -

With the level of talent on that UNC squad, that's absolutely no bueno -

Haven't seen anything new but would be close to shocked if he played this game. If he sees any time in the near future it will almost certainly be spot minutes, no reports of him practicing/scrimmaging, just getting back to healthy. -

Moren built the squad, the entire program, and runs it all from the sidelines with precision, so yeah, it's nice to be her lol! On the 'pick your poison,' the HT just rd-published a nice piece from the Star with that very headline, and as the piece lays it out, it's impressive. Before we go back to just talking men's team, just a few things from that article: Holmes made 15-18 shots Monday against Ohio St, just another walk in the park for her, double figures in every game all season That was the women's 8th W over a ranked opponent in as many tries Avg margin of victory: 13.6 points They shot 74% in the 1st half against ranked OSU, 74%... They've trailed a total of 8:36 min over the past 2 games against top 15 teams I mean, 24-1, yeah, good to be Moren :) I'm thinking how cool it would be to see both programs in the FF. These women are so good (Berger remains my fav). -

Moren is special, her growth of the women's program is something else. IU women look like a powerhouse now. And that's a nice play. -
Didn’t they play their way back into winning a lot like us? I seem to remember their going through a spell and that they worked themselves out of it.

Latest is one shooter, they appear to be closing in on him, hope he is caught before any more shootings

Yeah you’re bringing back the memories, I had some bad stomach issues too bc of the blood / drainage. And that gauze, I mean just the amount that was packed in was nuts. -
He scored too many points to Archie’s liking

I’ve had sinus surgery. Was a long time ago, put me out about a week - but in fairness, you’re not supposed to put pressure on the sinuses, like weight lifting or heavy breathing/ exercise for a while after. -
I could continue this with the obvious that "two of the top teams" does not mean the "other two top teams" -- but then, I wonder why people don't like lawyers.... Also this is kind of circular, no? So we're tied with NW for 2nd, and, right, we haven't beaten NW, yet. Right. The real point is they beat us, we know that, now the question is whether that was because we were playing like complete crap then, or whether they can do it again after we got our ish together.
