So next year we will clearly be without Green and Davis. TJD is a wait and see, IMO he needs two more years at a minimum. As for others, Durham, Brunk and Smith will be Seniors. Phinisee, Thompson, Anderson will be Juniors. TJD, Franklin, Hunter will be Sophomores and as of now we have Leal, Geronimo and Galloway coming in. Which puts us at a depth chart projected somewhere around... PG- Phinisee, Franklin SG- Durham, Leal, Galloway SF- Smith, Geronimo, Anderson, Hunter PF- TJD, Thompson C- Brunk Now the real question is, how mad or upset would anyone be taking Durham and Anderson out of that? We clearly need a legitimate PG... or two and another big man. I don’t think Anderson will ever figure it out at this level and would fit in best at an Indiana State or Evansville. As for Durham, the fact he’d likely be starting just hurts us. He’s clearly not good enough to try and force to be one of our best players. Would we be better off just Leal start? If Durham stays would he embrace a role off the bench as a glue guy? Now I’m not a big fan of his. I personally think he makes way too many dumb decisions with the ball, gets lazy of defense and he doesn’t help our shooting any, but no one does. Personally I think we would be better off going to grad transfers for a PG and a big man. I think we have enough wings and I think Leal is more talented than Durham, so we’d be fine. I’d say I hope Durham makes a leap, but he peaked his Sophomore year, so he is who he is. I think Franklin will pass him up next season as well and the starting two spot should be between Franklin and Leal. So would people okay with Durham leaving(Maybe go play at Georgia with Crean)? Anderson? Anyone else other than Green and Davis? People seemed happy about Moore and Forrester. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I still need to see the algorithm for NET. Until then, it’s garbage in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I think Stanford is at 75-1 odds as well. Some others are Notre Dame at 20-1, Georgia at 30-1, UConn, Minnesota and Purdue at 50-1, Arky and Louisiana Tech at 100-1. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Wouldn’t think any big time schools would him. Wouldn’t consider him to be good enough to make it in the NFL either. But he wasn’t even that great to begin with and the line didn’t fall off any when he went down. Stayed the same really. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

The over helping and over hedging are clearly what Archie have taught. Seems they need to go back to do the shell drill for a day. Because it obviously not working. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

NIT might be more interesting than the NCAA tourney. Maybe we can get UNC, Indiana, UCLA, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, Georgia and a couple others in. Make it a party. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
How about placing the blame on both? Green rightfully deserved to be on the bench. He was terrible. Honestly did even think Al played well at all either but he got to the FT line often. Smith had a lapse but came back strong to help win the game. TJD was TJD for the most part. Coaches have to coach and players have to play. Sometimes a coach has to bench a guy. But a player should still be cheering on his team even though he was benched. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Well you play like crap so you get benched. Having a little bit of a limp isn’t an excuse for some unenthusiastic clapping. Should have been enough adrenaline going through him because the team was playing well to not even notice a little bit of pain. He’s just a crybaby senior sitting next to a crybaby senior. Both need gone. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

A form. And forms that have been successful. Those coaches, including his own brother, getting a little more effort out of guys as well. But they still really just run basic man to man defense. Because that’s really all you need. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

In case anyone wanted to know... Indiana has 75-1 odds to win the NIT. UNC has the best chances at 12-1. Followed by Illinois and Rutgers at 15-1. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

One team has done it. A team that plays exclusively zone has won it all too. Everyone else though? Basic man to man(I think). Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Well the defense didn’t improve. Still gave up huge plays. It kept us in some but man did it screw us in others. Like Michigan State and Tennessee. Or Purdue. The defensive line is still bad. Corners still can’t cover and leave people wide open. His playing calling was pretty poopy at some bad times and I’m sure some of it is due to Allen as well. Blitzing when you shouldn’t, not blitzing when you should. We will see how players develop with another summer under him. The defensive line can’t get weaker and the DB’s eventually will stop watching offensive players making plays as they just stand there. It’s more than just play calling. It’s year 3 under Archie. The offensive scheme hasn’t changed a single bit and it’s still absolutely awful. The defense still can’t defend well enough. He still can’t get everyone to buy and yet he still plays those players. He’s screwing himself. Plain and simple. Archie is the reason Archie isn’t successful at Indiana so far. It’s on him now. Offense sucks. Defense isn’t good. Development isn’t good. Shooting sucks. He has massive flaws and he hasn’t changed a single thing. That’s why he won’t be successful here. He keeps talking like he will change things, but Crean did the same, and in 9 years nothing changed. He still wasn’t good enough. And Archie isn’t even near the level of a coach Crean was yet. Archie has an insane amount of work still to do with just himself and he better get on it really quick. As in like today. He just needs to throw away basically everything in his philosophies and start over. Simple man to man defense that plays the passing lanes some more(works just fine for a ton of other teams) and a quick moving(ball and player movement) that utilizes drives, backcuts, slashes, postups. He will need a full on overhaul of his coaching. Because what he’s doing is very clearly not good enough. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
He made Womack the DC because they shared the same style of play. And Womacks schemes sucked for the most part. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
