We should have been .500 this year (with the right QB), and did make good runs just a couple of years ago. Last season was the main problem. I am not necessarily confident, but next year is the tell for me. If it's another 2, 3, 4 win year, they'll have to make a change regardless of the buyout. No use getting depressed or mad about it. Once he started ripping everything IU I think it was open season. Whether he was being honest or not, doesn't really matter, he got personal. Let us not forget HE was on Sampson's staff. He likes to throw mud, but like a lot of big mouths, can't take any sort of criticism, just attacks people personally. Ripping Romeo, but I never heard him talk about Jadlow or Leary, two legit criminals. I wonder why that is? But then again, I stopped listening to him a while ago. In regards to ESPN, I don't really know why anyone would watch it, politics aside, it's literally just a talking head network, it's not a sports network. I don't really give two sh*ts what 90% of those guys have to say. I stopped watching ESPN long ago, and most of the time when I watch games I don't have audio on. And I 100% agree with you. Politics is everywhere all the time and THAT is the biggest issue in the country. The rest of it is just noise to piss people off, exactly what DD does. He became nothing more than a full time agitator and troll.

I assume it's just a way to get noticed, probably looking for the smaller school scholarships they turned down initially? They definitely aren't getting a scholarship anywhere else. I bet most of these types end up nowhere or a non NCAA school.

I didn't see it, but I heard about it. I am not a big fan of the overly emotionally stuff because I also think it leads to bad decision making (who to play, what coaches to retain, who to recruit).

Not to not pat you on the back, but I don't think you're the only person who thinks or has thought this. I would actually guess a majority of people thought this would get old quickly. The rah rah stuff only works in spurts hence why it's not a great motivator or coaching style long term or honestly, for adults.
